Your 5 favorite Disney animated films
Your 5 favorite Disney animated films
List your favorite 5 Disney films, in any order you would like. But, here are the rules you must follow prior before posting your lists:
Rule 1) Only one movie with an Alan Menken and/or Howard Ashman song score collaboration can be listed.
Rule 2) No Pixar or Miyazaki films can be listed, and live-action films don't count either.
Rule 3) Three is the maximum number for titles released as Platinum Editions (or slated to).
Rule 4) At least one film from the early '40s to early '80s have to be included.
So these rules notwithstanding, people will have to narrow their lists down by a wide margin.
And here's my list:
1. The Little Mermaid
2. Bambi
3. Mulan
4. Fantasia
5. Lilo & Stitch

And just for kicks, here's what my real list is without any rules attached:
1. Alice in Wonderland
2. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
3. The Hunchback of Notre Dame
4. Beauty and the Beast
5. Aladdin

Why all the rules? If Alan Menken scores help to make a movie great, that's to his credit.
No rules:
1. The Lion King
2. Toy Story 2
3. Finding Nemo
4. Beauty and the Beast
5. Aladdin
