I was surprised by how good the CG animation was in Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure ride at Tokyo Disney.

Re: Peter Pan Discussion
The animation is surprisingly elegant. I still prefer hand-drawn animation, even when used for something like a theme-park ride. And either way, I prefer physical animatronics over any kind of digital rendering. That'll be the shadow hanging over this thing for me.
But I can absolutely appreciate the scope and scale afforded to this thing. I've always loved how Japan's Disney fanbase really rallies around Disney Animation in a way that I wish was more widespread in America. Like, compare California's rides for "Winnie the Pooh" or "Monsters Inc." to Tokyo's. These days, attractions based on Pixar or Disney Animation properties tend to be second-priority next to anything Marvel or Star Wars--the notable exception being the entire land devoted to Lasseter's darling, "Cars."
