Really wished they released Elmo In Grouchland too.

Disney needs to get Manhattan, but Sony can keep Space.

But Manhattan was released by TriStar, so Disney can't get the rights.

According to The Digital Bits, the Muppet movies owned by Disney might be given a release around the holidays.

They probably will. It's an easy cash grab for them.

If they are both in widescreen, I'm there. If not, I don't care.

To be honest all The Muppets Movies have always bored me as a kid and now. I will give the new Muppets movie a try though. :)

I enjoy "The Muppets Take Manhattan" more than I probably should given that the movie is a little uneven, but it combines Muppets, musicals, and New York City, so it adds up for me. I'm eventually going to get it, but no time soon as I'm still pretty okay with my DVD unless I see "Manhattan" for cheap somewhere.

"Muppets From Space," however, will never be in my collection. Euck.

Ha, I have never understood the dislike for Muppets From Space, aside from folks who just don't like knowing what the heck Gonzo is, and the answer to that question in general. I mean, it didn't compare to the other original stories, but I still found it very entertaining, and it was nice to get the Muppets back into the real world instead of a very Muppety, storybook world as in Treasure Island and Christmas Carol. While I enjoyed those, I really had to get used to that aspect.

I never knew there was hatred for Muppets From Space. I kinda like it and plus, Gonzo being an alien makes perfect sense.

I don't have a 4k player/TV so while the Frank Oz commentary sounds great, I wouldn't be able to listen to it. And the other bonus features are on the DVD I already have. It's a shame there aren't more new bonuses. I put this in my Amazon wishlist when it first popped up...if the price dips I'll probably get it to have the Blu.
