Two of my favorites are:
Mickey’s Mellerdrammer (1933)
and
Mickey’s Gala Premier (1933)
I love many others but these 2 stand out.
I don’t have a least favorite but I guess The Simple Things (1953) mostly due to the substandard animation.

Very much so.... but as I said I love them all. It’s not a favorite, though.
I have it on The Walt Disney Short Films Collection and the Frozen DVD.

I don't. In fact, it's my least favorite theatrical Mickey Mouse cartoon.
Re: Most and Least Favorite Mickey Mouse Theatrical Shorts
It's the short that symbolizes Disney turning their back on hand drawn animation, displaying to everyone their transformation from a hand drawn studio to a CGI one, with none other than their most iconic character - Mickey Mouse.

For some reason they decided to draw him differently in the 50s, giving him a more angular design and eyebrows. I agree that his 40s design was better, and they went back to it in the 80s with Mickey's Christmas Carol.carolinakid wrote: ↑Sun Feb 19, 2023 10:01 am I don’t have a least favorite but I guess The Simple Things (1953) mostly due to the substandard animation.

Runaway Brain is a amazing, and honestly looks like it could've been made yesterday.
