That would be really cool, I like that idea!

I hope they see this and report back to their masters. She would be perfect.
I love Gal Gadot, and they'll probably age up Snow a bit for this movie like mentioned, but still: isn't Gadot way too old for this role? She's 34. (I'm not trying to 'age shame' or anything, and like I said I think Gal Gadot is amazing)
Yeah, she is. But to be fair, with the exception of Aurora, all the live action Princesses were played by actresses older than the characters, not by much, and that was never a problem. I can even see Gadot in Snow White's signature dress. Even though, most likely her costume will be totally different in the live action.

Naomi Scott is 26. Emma Watson and Lily James were both around the same age at the time their films were released. Age beside, all three actresses look young, and Watson and Scott in particular are still playing teenage roles and can do so believably. Not as familiar with some of James' other films, but I think even she portrays relatively young roles that, if they aren't in their teenage years, they're still supposed to be in their early 20s. All three looked the part of a young princess at the end of the day. In no circumstances does Gal Gadot resemble a teenager, let alone the youngest Disney Princess ever. There's a reason she was picked to play Wonder Woman, an Amazonian princess and warrior. This is why I agree with the others saying that she's in a better position to play the Queen. She bears a stronger resemblance to Grimhilde anyway, whereas there's little to no physical resemblance to Snow White.

Going by Belle and Jasmine's looks especially (and even Cinderella's), I doubt Snow White's look will be very different from her iconic outfit.

I agree. Celebrities are living lives of affluence and botox. Gadot can pass for a woman in her twenties easily, and that's young enough, imo. Snow White definitely won't be 13 in this movie. :P

Gotta agree Gal Gadot is too old to be Snow White. Some of the actress look like they can be teenagers or young adults. Gadot looks 30.

I wish Disney picked a more artistic choice than Mark Webb. Disney and Marvel rarely pick interesting directors i find.

Eww, I didn't realize that he was responsible for both Amazing Spider-Man films. Although the second one was especially terrible because of studio interference and not just Webb but still. I think I can already give up on this film at this point.

He's sorta ok at directing romances, but I'm not sure if that is the direction Disney would wanna take with the new Snow White.

His movie just don't scream "fairy tale magic".

To be fair, neither did Guy Ritchie's unless you count that King Arthur film he did which I honestly wouldn't.

I urge you to check out his work on the tv show Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. He’s a very clever, musically inclined director, and his work on that show really proves it. He’s had some misses. But I see exactly what Disney is thinking with him, and I’m fully on board to see where he takes this.

I haven't seen the show myself but I remember it was a critical darling. I think it had a lot of social commentary on the Disney Princesses as well although I can't imagine that would be very favorable towards Snow White.

Snow White is gearing up production. We have learned from sources that a casting search has already begun to look for the studios next live-action Princess, Prince, Evil Queen/Old Hag, and the seven dwarfs. Additionally, we have also learned that production on the project is expected to begin next March in Vancouver, Canada.

That's kind of exciting. I won't be officially excited 'till I hear who the actors will be. :D

Yup, my friend in the industry just told me they're happening right now! Shocked Disney is doing two princess movies at once.

Anyway, someone just suggested Lady Gaga as the Evil Queen and omg, we need this. Imagine the costumes.

I would hope they wouldn't use Lady Gaga's singer costumes style for the Queen's costumes. However, I'm sure she would act the part well.

Do you think some of the dwarfs will be non-white or female ?

Will they go for a HUGE star for the queen role ?

And will they stunt cast the voice of the magic mirror ?

I think casting real dwarfs would be sacrificing too much pootinal star power for Disney to risk it.
There are only two big dwarf actors in hollywood and aren't dwarfs from fantasy stories and fairy tales and real life people with dwarfism two different things ?

I hope so. She's the only interesting part of the tale, imo.
