Re: Legend of the Three Caballeros
My sister loves "The Three Caballeros" and she loves Donald Duck, so I brought this up with her, but she doesn't have DisneyApp. Here's hoping that they include this on their all-new DisneyFlix setup when it comes online.

This definitely seems interesting. Hope the show gets posted online soon.

Re: Legend of the Three Caballeros
Finally, a video from the show. It's the intro and it looks really good!
You can also watch a video of the end credits that feature some nice illustrations.
If Disney's still able to produce this kind of animation for TV, then why aren't they doing so for any of their other TV shows? Are you telling me they've been force-feeding us these poorly-animated series all this time when they didn't have to?

It looks great! I haven't commented on the "Things you Miss About Disney" thread, (a very interesting thread, by the way) but this classic style of animation is definitely something I've personally missed.Sotiris wrote:Finally, a video from the show. It's the intro and it looks really good!

Unfortunately, there's not going to be a second season.

Re: Legend of the Three Caballeros
The way this show has been handled has been so peculiar. Released in various countries but not others such as the U.S. and with absolutely no promotion or announcement. Just quietly uploaded. And now prior confirmation that the show's production has been dismantled and there will be no second season.

Re: Legend of the Three Caballeros
My thoughts exactly. I'm sorry but I cringe when I see things like Gravity Falls...That an animation company with such glorious output can have its name tied to that type of abomination is beyond me. Even go so far as to release said show on bluray before any of the previous, far superior, saturday morning cartoons have got similar treatment is infuriating. There has to be a sort of aestethic involved imho. I know it doesn't cater to my needs but I am ashamed to let my young daughter watch these type of things and I think she would prefer an old Donald Duck rerun insteadSotiris wrote:Finally, a video from the show. Re: Legend of the Three Caballeros
Gravity Falls has a sizable following and Disney themselves didn't even release the Blu-Ray set themselves. Shout! Factory saw demand for a Gravity Falls complete series set and licensed the series, although I'm sure Disney gets a cut of the profits.
Curiously, I find it unusual the Three Caballeros show didn't premiere in South America first. Jose Carioca remains a popular character in Brazil, after all.

I know..but the sheer thought that it carries the Disney name is beyond me

This show getting cancelled is obvious anti-latino propaganda.

^Thanks for sharing! Here are also the intro in better quality and the end credits.
It's a shame there will be no more seasons, but I think it's already a miracle we got the complete first season, so I'm happy for that.Sotiris wrote:Unfortunately, there's not going to be a second season.

I'm shocked that this show is getting so little attention here.*

According to some non-latino folks (that I'm sure are 95% of this place) the characters are "offensive" latino charicatures, and instead latinos should get their representation tit from inaccurate Elena of Taco Bell.

Re: Legend of the Three Caballeros
I'm on the third episode now too. It's a lot of fun and I'm enjoying it, but a little too silly at times. But like Wreck-It Ralph 2, it's just great to see these characters again, so I'm not complaining.
Re: Legend of the Three Caballeros
^Yes, it's a bit silly at times, but it's hilarious and I love the animation. Also, Donald, José and Panchito's personalities work very well together. I wish they made an entire new movie with them as protagonists. What surprised me a bit, though, is that the only things in the show that are from South America are José and Panchito. I thought the goddess who appears in all the episodes would be Latina, but it seems she's actually Greek. Well, they're visiting different parts of the world, so maybe there's an episode in which they go to South America, but so far in the episodes I've seen they haven't been there yet. That's not really a complaint, it's just different from what I imagined it would be. But I really recommend the show and I'm happy we got this series.
