I feel that all four are overrated in some way, but at the moment, the least overrated in my opinion would be Sleeping Beauty.
totally agree. I wonder why Little Mermaid and Aladdin werent options, they're farytales too
I feel each of those have improved over the past one, therefore my vote goes to Beauty and the Beast. I feel it's the strongest because the protagonist(s) isn't overshadowed by the sidekicks, therefore we feel for them more. This happened big time in Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty though not as much in Snow White, but Snow isn't interesting enough to make her film better than the others.

I would have gone with The Little Mermaid had it been there, but I went with Beauty & the Beast because, well...it is my favourite of those 4.
I hadn't seen it until the DVD came out, and then it was a saga to get a copy that worked on my player, but it really clicked with me when I finally watched it. I'm a sucker for a love story.
That is to not discount the others - Snow White is genius filmmaking for the time, and Sleeping Beauty has some of the most stunning backgrounds I've seen.
