Honestly, I don't like the formula of playing a bland song only vaguely related to the story performed by non-entity over the credits. Frozen is more what I would like, but even that was saddled with an uninteresting singer.

By the way, Sotiris, nice shout out to Britney Spears. She would appreciate somebody finally took the time to understand the lyrical brilliance of her music.

The song is what it is- Fall Out Boy doing their thing. I don't like Fall Out Boy, so I don't really like this, either.

The films by Disney Animation have almost never had good songs play over the end credits, and that includes the 90s films with their infinitely boring adult contemporary pop versions of in-film songs (yes, I'm talking about Beauty and the Beast, A Whole New World, and Colors of the Wind, all of which pale in comparison to their in-film versions). Somehow I'm always disappointed when I learn about the end credits songs, but I should know better by now.

Personally, I would take the '90s covers over this. Boring or not, they're heads and shoulders above the irrelevant filler they use now, and at least well-sung. That the in-film versions are better goes without saying.

Well, if we're talking about which I'd rather take, I guess I'd probably agree with you for the most part. It still doesn't really change the fact that what they did then and what they are doing now has never really impressed me.

I was actually pleasantly surprised with the Owl City song for WIR though. It's not a particularly great song, and I'm with those who think Owl City is a cheap knock-off of the Postal Service, but it worked quite well in conjunction with the credit sequence itself, and more-or less fit the tone of the film.

Im mixed towards most of the Disney pop/end credits songs. I like Elton John's COL, & Vanessa William's COTW and IINNY with Secada and Aguilera's Reflection.
I do also like the songs in Oliver and Company, and Collin's Tarzan and some of Brother Bear songs. And that GooGoo guy's TP song. :)

I agree, I like most of them in their way. I also like "B&tB" with Celine Dion, although of course she's not to everyone's taste. Grace Potter and Ne-Yo are okay, but the songs are, well....

Good find Amy! :)

Aunt Cass looks really appealing, and seems very young, like thirty-something.

I wouldn't mind if she were my aunt, btw. :frog:

That Song was meh. I could barely understand the lyrics to be honest.

One of those was a former Big Brother contestant.

Honestly, and I hope this doesn't sound like I'm wishing the film bad things, but I hope it doesn't do as well as Frozen. I honestly like that a female-centric film like Frozen managed to reach near the same heights as The Lion King as far as cultural impact, and I'm not ready for that to be forgotten by a new recordbreaker so soon. :P
