I haven't even bothered with this game because Disney's clearly using it to promote their CG movies. I also didn't like how for a game titled "Disney Infinity" that most of the franchises were Pixar movies. Where were the real Disney movies? Where's the love for their 2D classics? That's why I still like the Kingdom Hearts series.
They should have stuck with the original Maleficent from the original classic. Or at least released both the animated and the live action version. I only hope Aurora does not turn out to be the live action version.
I really dislike Merida as a character. She is rude and obnoxious, and she is a truly ugly looking character (her design) - like most human Pixar characters. In that regard she can not be compared to the Disney princesses, not even to CGI ones like Rapunzel, Anna and Elsa.
And WHERE are all the classic Disney characters? Donald, Goofy, Aladdin, Cinderella, Hercules, Pinocchio, Hades, Jafar, Ariel etc? Enough with the Pixar stuff!

As for Merida, I personally find her figure a lot more appealing than Anna and Elsa, even though I don't necessarily care for her as much as a character. She may not be as "attractive", but she's appealing. Look at it this way - at this point theyve used up a good chunk of Pixar properties, which means going forward there will hopefully be more classics.
Star Wars and Marvel will be hard to compete with though.

Good to see some "classic" Disney (Walt Disney Animation Studios, that is) characters. Hopefully they will release more of them, now that many of the main Pixar and Marvel characters already have been released/announced so far.

This is 100% based on assumption, but I wonder if Goofy will be part of 3.0?
Anyway, the fact that Donald has a "Disney Classics" label on gives me hope for more of the Mickey and Gang characters. Goofy, Pluto, Minnie, Daisy, Scrooge, Chip 'n' Dale, the triplets and Pete would all be very welcome additions!
I for one would also love it if they released Goofy, Pete, Baloo, and Chip 'n' Dale and then release Disney Afternoon outfits for each of them as power discs! Maybe they could make a "Quack Pack" power disc for Donald and give us his Hawaiian shirt look?
