If they were to make a true sequel I would say a mix of both.
If you mean this idea of Roger Rabbit and Mickey Mouse Pixar film I'm going to lean towards CGI. I think they should take Roger Rabbit out of this idea and put Oswald in. It's not that I don't like Roger it just seems to fit more. Although this movie with Roger Rabbit and Mickey Mouse could be a DTV in the likes of Planes.
CGI? Dammit!
Personally they could make him Anime, Motion Capture or Stop Motion or even CGI. It would be nice to see Mickey geared towards an audience outside of Preschoolers so if this is CGI and that is the case I support it. True I would prefer hand drawn but I just want to see Mickey in something other than teaching 5 year olds how to die their shoes for a change
Also I suspect if this Roger Rabbit/Mickey Mouse movie gets made I have a feeling it will be released like how Planes and the Tinker Bell films have been released. Although I'd rather see Oswald and Mickey and cut Roger loose.

well, I don't want to see Mickey into CGI, but you do have a point there.
Some guy updating his blog on how 'he and his buddy' are working on it? Robert Zemeckis has had a script at Disney's desk for over a year and he said recently Disney isn't doing it.
Seriously, this is how these rumors get out of control. Someone asks what medium this fake movie is going to be made in, another replies with a mix of CGI and hand drawn based on absolutely nothing.. the other gets mad at that, bla bla bla.
Aren't we supposed to be smarter than this? This movie isn not real. We had established that already.
Yeah I don't think it's happening either. It just doesn't add up why Mickey Mouse and Roger Rabbit would team up together. I agree I will be very surprised if this movie actually is made. I do wish Disney would make a Mickey Mouse movie even if it was only DTV in whatever animation style they choose and the DTV Mickey Mouse Clubhouse doesn't count

Well, they sort of...not really...teamed up in Mickey's 60th Anniversary special but it's not really much. Just Roger botching up the party and then "finding" Mickey at the very end. Also, at Disneyland you normally saw Roger with Mickey and the regular gang (Donald, Goofy, Minnie, etc.). So who knows. But I think it's a rumor as well and i'm not even sure it would be a good idea.
Q: Robert Zemeckis has said that he'd like to do a sequel. Is there any update on that front?
Charles Fleischer: I would say that the update is that there are rumors. Because I'm not an executive at Disney studios -- or at least I wasn't before this interview -- the answer would fall outside my canon. If it were within my decision-making capacity, I would more than love to do more with Roger. I think there's a lot of people that would, too and that leads me to believe that it could happen. If something happens once, it might happen again.
From this Pre Production Art it seems this project might actually happen. However I still stand by that if it is made, it will be made by Disney Toon Studios who make The TinkerBell movies and Planes.

The same article links to the new Mickey Mouse short and states it was made by fans?
In an interview, Kathleen Turner said that she'd welcome the opportunity to revisit this animated character but then added "Yeah, I don't know if that's really going to happen. I don't think Bob Zemeckis is going to do it because he said it was one of the hardest jobs he ever took on."
During the production of the original Roger Rabbit more than 25 years ago now, Zemeckis was faced with the daily challenge of "creating the technology of integrating animation and live photography."
Turner said that she is not sure the director is still to the task of handling that amount of " ... meticulous and endless work." Kathleen also said that she would welcome the chance to work again with the man who directed her in 1984's "Romancing the Stone." And given how projects that were long thought to be dead have this nasty habit of rising from the grave in Hollywood, Turner would be happy to voice Jessica Rabbit once more. But only if it's Zemeckis calling the shots on "Roger Rabbit 2."
"If it was Bob, I would say yes (to this project,)" Kathleen insisted.
A couple fans asked the panel about the status of the sequel during a brief Q&A session, and here's what the director had to say:
"I don't know. Jeff [Price] and Peter [Seaman] wrote a screenplay. It's sitting there at Disney, so we don't know what's going to happen. You just never know."
Someone else asked if they would elaborate on what the story would be in the sequel, but everyone refused to talk about it any further.
But if they don't care for Roger or Jessica Rabbit, why do they keep making merchandise and have appearances in the parks? It proof they still care. Plus, there's a legion of fans so why ignore them?
The best we could do is keep asking Disney until the cave in. It doesn't even have to be a sequel, it could be shorts or appearances in Mickey and The Roadster Races, maybe even make The Stooge a TV movie in the style of the Rudish Mickey shorts.
