Ummm, but none of those "black hairs" are in that box as you can see. That's the pointdisneyprincess11 wrote:Oh, for crying out loud: Rapunzel was the first blonde Princess (Let's not count Elionwy) since 1959!Lady Cluck wrote:GIVE ME A BREAK! Can people stop saying that "All Princesses are blonde" crap?!
Right now in the line up-
RED HAIR: 2
BLONDE HAIR: 5 (Elsa???)
BRUNETTE: 2 (Counting Rapunzel)
BLACK HAIR: 5 (Moana in 3-4 years will be 6)
So, there are as much black hairs as blonde. If Angelina from Giants is blonde, then yes: Go, complain.

Even if then, 5 blondes is too much.
I refuse to believe Elsa is a blond though. White hair or delete her, man.

Uhm judging by her parents and Anna, if Elsa lost her powers she'll be strawberry or chocolate brunette.thedisneyspirit wrote: I refuse to believe Elsa is a blond though. White hair or delete her, man.

I thought it was stated somewhere by one of the directors that had Elsa not been born with her powers, she would have been a brunette just like her mother.thedisneyspirit wrote:I refuse to believe Elsa is a blond though. White hair or delete her, man.

Me too. That said, I really hope that Giants' Angelina (or the next princess after Moana if there will be one) is a brunette! It sounds like Giants will be in Italy, so I think she should be a brunette.thelittleursula wrote:Agreethedisneyspirit wrote:Even if then, 5 blondes is too much.

And it's kinda dumb to only have Snow White as the dark-haired white girl. What, white girls can only be blondes or redheads? When in fact dark hair is the most common hair color. Oh Disney...

The sad part is I wouldn't be that surprised if something like that were actually said behind-the-scenes out of earshot in boardrooms and the like.

Oooo I loved Rapunzels outfit in the top right picture, very pretty!
The picture of Anna and Elsa is from their meet and greet point in Disney Land I think, for when they're in Fairytale Hall ?

The drawings of all those 3D characters is hideous.

I wonder if Anna and Elsa will ever be separated ? Like, have a meet and greet on their own, or anything like that ? Have their own adventure stories etc … ?

I really hate it whenever I see this kind of marketing in the stores for these movies. Disney, you know you don't really care about 2D animation, because if you did Frozen would have been a 2D movie, so please don't insult me by pretending that these are 2D films. If they were truly being honest to kids, all their merchandise artwork for these movies would always be CGI, because that's what these movies really are.Sotiris wrote:Anna and Elsa on the French Disney Princess magazine.
As I'm sure you may have guessed, I'm not pleased with these characters being introduced into the Disney Princess line. I wasn't pleased when Tangled was either.

Why not? They're Disney, they're princesses. I don't see the problem. And you guys need to stop saying "Disney hates hand-drawn!!" ( I swear, a certain thread in this forum has made me hate the term "hand-drawn"). Animation is just going through a fad because all animated hits for years have been CG. I get it, they're not giving 2D the chance it deserves, but there is absolutely not a one person in the world that would get a job at Disney because they hated 2D so much they had to get a job as a decoy, get to CEO and executive to destroy it muahhaha. It's just for a while, guys. By the way, I am almost %100 sure that Walt himself would love CG animation because he always liked doing things in the most modern way possible. I live for hand-drawn animation, I love it so much more than CGI and I would love more than anything for it to come back; I used to have very similar opinions to yours. But to even hint at an anti-hand-drawn conspiracy is just silly. It'll come back. And Rapunzel, Anna, and even Elsa deserve to be Disney Princess as much as Aurora and Mulan.
I love the 2D versions of Anna and Elsa, much more than I liked Rapunzel and Merida (I didn't hate 2D Merida at all though, I don't understand why most people did) and I want to see more of it already. Can't wait to see how they deal with Frozen in the line.

Fixed. >>;Me wrote:The drawings of all those 3D characters are hideous.
Anyway, I've always thought the mixture of the 3D and 2D characters was incredibly stupid, but I'd rather look at 3D clipart next to 2D clipart than these awful drawings.
