I tweeted at the Disney Movie Club Twitter account about a Hercules Blu-Ray, because they're usually very responsive to everyone. They @ replied me with "Thanks for your input ~ I will pass this along. As Hercules said: "Pardon me. It seems to me that what you folks need is a hero." ☺"

I thought it was cute.

Very pleasantly surprised to see that The Jungle Book 2's digital copy is being supported by iTunes. Wasn't expecting that as this is one of the "lesser titles" similar to last year's August wave which included Return To Never Land (another sequel to a Diamond release). Maybe Disney has heard us and received enough complaints to finally offer all providers on all releases.

Imagine if we get iTunes digital copies for Hercules, Tarzan and The Black Cauldron  (Aladdin and 101 Dalmatians are a given due to their Diamond status).

Snow White comes out in Spain
Sicoe Vlad wrote:http://www.amazon.es/gp/product/B00J02X ... sp_asin_tl

Apparently, Disney is preparing a new Blu-ray release for Snow White in Spain. It is scheduled to be released in May 2014, according to the Amazon link I provided. Do you think it has a connection with the theatrical release of Maleficent, or will it be an exclusive release like the Royal Edition of Cinderella for the UK? Either way, it's very strange, since it normally wouldn't be released until 2016 (or 2017), when the Diamond Edition line will end, and a new collection will begin.
and various Disney classics come out again in Greece in April (will keep you posted on that one)
Lnds500 wrote:We are seeing re-releases as well "from the 1st of April". But I imagined that would be leftover stock really.

http://issuu.com/feelms/docs/april_a_2014 (pages 6-7/8)

Ours show the DVD version of BatB and sequels, Snow White and TLK trilogy and says

"Disney's Great Masterpieces return in Blu-ray and DVD).

It's a weird development because Disney doesn't do catalogue Blu-rays in Greece anymore.
Frozen is also scheduled for April 1st (in 3D, BD, DVD) for Greece

That means that the US should get these around the same time as well.

Why does it mean that?

There are several blu's available in Europe or other parts of the world that are not announced or available in the US, unfortunately.
The other way around as well.

I am expecting Tarzan and Hercules to be released in the US this year, though.

Awesome news about Tarzan and Hercules! I love both covers but I really wish they'd put Hades on the cover for Hercules.

Where's the DVD for Tarzan?

...now, I want The Black Cauldron Blu-ray and Aladdin 3D Blu-ray!!!!

VERY exciting news! Can finally get rid of that crappy old DVD of Hercules. (I'm sure that the Blu-ray couldn't be worse than THAT). Now, I'm wondering about the special features for both releases. Not holding my breath.

While I like the Hercules cover and I definitely consider it an improvement over the DVD, I, too, am disappointed Hades isn't on it. Tarzan's is pretty boring. I think my DVD has the EXACT cover art... That's lame. But, still. Mostly concerned with great transfers/audios and extras at this point. Really hope these don't let me down.

Yes!! Finally... :D

I hope the Tarzan cover is just a mock-up and the packaging will include a DVD as well
Seems like a good chance as it just says "Digital Copy" instead of "Digital HD Digital Copy" so they surely will change that.

Also hoping that the Hercules DVD will be updated to include the digitally-sourced transfer (the old DVD was awful!!) and that they won't just throw in the old DVD like they did with Hunchback last year.

Still, great news!!

Here's hoping they release Ichobod for Halloween, and some of the other packaged films this year too.

I have feeling they'll release Saludos Amigos/Three Caballeros during the FIFA World Cup.

Tried uploading a clip from Sky Disney Movies but youtube/Disney blocked it worldwide so heres a 720p clip of The Three Caballeros. There doesnt seem to need much attention for a BluRay release

Man, it looks like the dated WEB-DL rip that has been flying about on the net and it is god-awful.
