I'm glad the producer is actually letting the people choose instead of just making it for the heck of it

^ I doubt negative talk would stop a sequel from being made. Besides, Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck are probably not gonna come back for round 2; they'll probably be asked to do either Giants or Moana, or given creative privileges to make their own story.

EDIT: Ah, my bad; they were the directors, not producers. But my point still stands; they'd need a top notch staff to make the sequel, as the original probably won't be around. Will they do that?

Looks like they opened up the mattes a bit, comparing DVDBeaver cap to matching screen from the Let it Go Youtube upload.

Here's a New York Times article talking about Frozen (and other stuff, too.) http://www.nytimes.com/2014/03/05/busin ... oming.html

Just pulling out a passage I found telling:
... Blue snow cones for everyone! But the party Monday afternoon grew unexpectedly serious, as multiple Disney executives became overwhelmed recalling just how far the studio had come after a harrowing transition to computer-aided filmmaking. “There was talk of closing this place,” John Lasseter, chief creative officer for Pixar and Disney animation, said through tears. “And we said: ‘Not on our watch. We will never allow that to happen.' ”

Winning an Academy Award is a coup for any movie company, but the “Frozen” honors carry extra weight for Disney. Ever since the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences created the best animated feature prize in 2001, Pixar has dominated the category, winning seven times. Rivals including DreamWorks Animation have won all other years.

Never winning was a humiliation for a lot of artists at Disney, the shop where the art of mainstream animation was essentially born and home to such classics as “Dumbo,” “Cinderella” and “The Lion King.” ...

I posted this trailer in the Muppets Most Wanted Thread, however since it does pertain to John Travolta and Adele Dazeem I'll post it here too

This is one of the most creative and most clever piece of Marketing I've ever seen. Not to mention I started laughing so hard my family woke up.

Plot twist: the Travolta thing was planned all along as part of a viral campaign for Frozen and The Muppets.

The sad part is I actually wondered that already. This crazy, manipulative world we live in.

Doug posted this on his Facebook.
A lot of people are wondering if I truly am sick of 'Let it Go' like in the Nostalgia Critic video. Truth be told, I AM one of those obnoxious people who will play this song over and over again. In fact, one of the memes in the video about Elsa freezing the Midwest is mine from Facebook. As a comedian, I have to make fun of the fact that it is overplayed like Hell, it's just too funny not to address. But as a fan, I much rather have that overplayed than anything by Rebecca Black. So as the NC, I'm sick to death of it, but as myself, I say let the storm rage on!

I think some people seem to forget that making jokes is one of the reasons why Doug does the Nostalgia Critic videos. The jokes he makes are meant to be satirical.

In fact, he mentions the endless Youtube covers of Let it Go, but if you managed to stick around for the credits you'd notice a disclaimer saying, "Check out these great Frozen videos from..." and then proceeds to list the people who covered the song.

You can also find the Midwest meme, featured in the parody video, on his Facebook.

Has no one realized that John Travolta actually introduced Adella from The Little Mermaid, and remember from the movie, she does sing! So now we know Ariel's last name is Dazeem!

It's a play on words. Travolta mispronounced Idina's names as "Adelle Dazeem". Adella was one of Ariel's sisters, etc.

Yea DisneyJedi I was just making a joke because it sounds like he said Adella Dazeem and Adella is one of Ariel's sisters that sings at the concert in the beginning of The Little Mermaid.
