A princess set would definitely fit in well. So would a DuckTales set, even if it's just Scrooge, Huey, Dewey and Louie. :p
No Launchpad? :(
Oh man, I'd love Launchpad! As well as Magica and Gizmoduck, but kids and/or the mainstream shoppers who'd consider buying Pops and aren't familiar with DuckTales would be far more likely to recognize Scrooge and the nephews as their own characters over most anyone else from the show.

Baring Donald's few appearances, that is. :p

Aladdin and Robin Hood are being made too. Also the mini Aurora is out now at Hat Topic in a three pack with Ariel and Snow White.

So he does.

Nemo and Dory look fine, but not so much Bruce. Finding Nemo has never been one of my favorites, anyway, so I'll end up passing on these.

^Hey, now! They did Ursula and Ariel and they turned out just fine!

Honestly, though, these DO look... Bizarre. They’re just not that appealing. I was wondering how they’d turn out, because when I first heard they were coming, I just sort of went, “Eh? Okayyy...” For some reason, the non-human Disney characters end up looking a little strange to me. I feel this way about the Lion King set, too. (Even Rafiki...but I still like the character enough to appreciate his inclusion at all.)

I also can’t hide the fact that I think Finding Nemo was completely undeserving of its own POP set over stuff like Bambi, Cinderella, The Jungle Book, Robin Hood, Hunchback, Hercules, Princess and the Frog, Tangled or Frozen, even.

Finding Nemo is one of their biggest hits and still has a big following between kids and adults. Even if it isn't your favorite, I'm sure there are plenty who are happy about the film getting its own set.

Although, maybe more so if their figures looked better. :P

Classic Tron is coming soon. So is more Muppets. Sam the Eagle and Swedish Chef are only two announced so far.

Sounds good!

You know which movie deserves its own set as far as I'm concerned? The Emperor's New Groove. You can fit a good set of four with human and llama Kuzco, Yzma and Kronk. I love Pacha, but over these guys, it makes sense to skip him.

That would actually be pretty amazing. I love Emperor's New Groove and yet I ALWAYS seem to forget about it... We do need more merchandise for that one and you're right, those four would be terrific choices.

My dream set is still a Hunchback set that includes Quasimodo, Esmeralda, Frollo and Clopin.

Sadly, neither will probably ever happen. I mean, we're just NOW getting Lion King. I can only imagine how long it'll take for them to get around to the more 'cult' films of the canon. (But the upcoming Robin Hood DOES give me hope that we may see more unconventional choices.)

I think it's possible that we can see either sets if the Disney Pops continue to sell, and yeah, I'd love that Hunchback set as well.

Other ones I think deserve a shot and are likely to happen at some point-

The Princess and the Frog-

Tiana (human form)
Naveen (frog form)
Dr. Facilier
Louis

Tangled-

Rapunzel
Flynn
Mother Gothel
Pascal

Frozen-

Anna
Elsa
Kristoff
Olaf

Hercules-

Hercules
Meg
Hades
Zeus

Of course, some are more likely than others, but I'd be very surprised if we don't hear anything about Frozen Pops by the time it comes out on DVD/Blu.

Great to hear Mrs. Potts, Lumiere and Cogsworth are coming. I'm a bit miffed about getting another Belle when that was such a perfect opportunity to include Gaston and round out the main cast of Beauty and the Beast, though. Ah, well. I only hope we'll get Gaston in the future. He's one of the characters I want to see most. (Mostly because I have a friend whose favorite character is Gaston and she is in LOVE with the POP designs.)

Any idea when these are being released? Or is it still too soon to tell? (I can't recall whether or not we have a release date for the Lion King set or not... I'm not really keeping up with the schedule anymore.)

Only the Nemo series has a release date so far. I imagine around Toy Fair we will know when Lion King and Beauty and the Beast will show up.

Oh, nice! Gives me hope that we'll eventually see the princesses who have more than one good/iconic outfit. :D

Disney strangely ignores Gaston, but I suppose have Belle 2.0 before Gaston isn't much stranger than having nearly the entire cast of Aladdin before the main character.

It's weird to see Gaston be ignored when he's having a bit of a resurgence at the parks, isn't it? At least at Magic Kingdom, with the tavern, but Gaston seems to be a fairly popular addition there.

Frozen as been hinted at for this year. I expect we will see a lot of announcements and images next month at Toy Fair.

I just read about that earlier on the Funko forum. Also read that Bambi was getting a few. Is that just a rumor, or has that been confirmed, too? I'm excited about the prospect of more Disney characters. Always get antsy and hopeful when the rumors start flying in from conventions and toy fairs.

And, even though they aren't POPS, images of the line-up for Funko's MARVEL Mystery Minis set have leaked:

Really happy to see Doom and Galactus in there! The fact that they're bobbleheads is kind of, 'meh.' Other than that, they exceeded my expectations. I was hoping they'd turn out rather like the DC Minis and they did. And I'm surprised at the fact that I actually want others besides those two. Green Goblin's kinda cute and Thanos and Ultron just look cool.
