That's pretty cool. But... the thought of Snow White speaking in a voice not by Andrina Calsoletti (Did I spell that right?) or at least a soundalike just seems.... jarring.estefan wrote:Here's the one where Snow White presented an Oscar:

Aaaw, that is so cute of Donkey kissing Shrek. He's so cute and cuddly. And cheer up, Mike and Sulley. Your song won for Best Song anyway.Sotiris wrote:

Here's the clip of Chicken Little and Abbie Mallard presenting the Oscar for Best Animated Short (they appear three minutes in):

I always found it strange that they got these two to present an award. Chicken Little was hardly one of the more beloved or popular films of that year. I guess it was the Disney influence (the Oscars being shown on ABC, after all).

Great, another find. I think that leaves only three more we haven't discovered yet.estefan wrote:Here's the clip of Chicken Little and Abby Mallard presenting the Oscar for Best Animated Short.
• A Bug's Life
• Toy Story 2
• CG Mickey Mouse presents with Jennifer Garner the Best Short Animated Short, 2003
Re: Disney/Pixar characters at the Oscars
The toy story 2 one is impossible to find, the toy story community over at the pixar planet forums have been looking for it for years. The best we could come up with was a thumbnail.

Someone even asked the people who run the Oscars youtube if I remember right, I believe they said they could not find it in their archives.

Re: Disney/Pixar characters at the Oscars
Really? It seems very odd they wouldn't have archived the video. It's not that old. Perhaps they don't have the rights to post the animated segment like they didn't for Lasseter's Special Achievement Award.Kyle wrote:Someone even asked the people who run the Oscars youtube if I remember right, I believe they said they could not find it in their archives.
Re: Disney/Pixar characters at the Oscars
On their official website, the Special Achievement Award segment appears in full: http://www.oscars.org/awards/academyawa ... /68th.html

That's odd. How come they can post the segment on their website and not on YouTube and claim that they "don't have the rights to post that part of the clip"?estefan wrote:On their official website, the Special Achievement Award segment appears in full.

I was lookimg through my old DVD recordings from my VCR days & yep, I have the Toy Story 2 oscar clip. Mine starts when Mr. & Mrs. Potato are arguing over Don Rickles.Kyle wrote:The toy story 2 one is impossible to find, the toy story community over at the pixar planet forums have been looking for it for years. I like that flirty Snow White. Dunno what's the deal with the dress, though...

Re: Disney/Pixar characters at the Oscars
I actually do like the Snow White one even though we all know that she doesn't dress like THAT.
I would love to see an Oscar segment where Johnny Worthington from Monsters University and Anna/or Elsa from Frozen argue over which actress has the best talent.

Wow, awesome. Thanks for sharing!
Not to be greedy, but I don't suppose you could upload a direct feed of this by any chance? You said its a dvd right? Dvds can be ripped, the quality would be much improved.
