At a late showing of The Wolverine

Thor: The Dark World (yeah, this could have the worst trailer in the world, and it'd still be a day-one viewing for me. I mean, it's Thor!)
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (I'm the odd guy who hates this franchise just as much as Twilight, but I'd be lying if I said that Philip Seymour Hoffman as Snow doesn't fascinate me. I'll still be keeping my distance)
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (this isn't going to be Ben Stiller's masterpiece like he's planning it to be, I'm calling it now. I'm definitely still interested in it, though)

In front of Monsters University (Given slight expansion for holiday weekend, I just couldn't resist)
Walking With Dinosaurs (Second-Run, if at all)
Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 (Must-See)
Free Birds (Will check-out; Not exactly a Must-See)
The Lego Movie (Must-See, apparently)
Bears (Disneynature's newest; Will probably give a shot)
Frozen (Stop teasing us, please! We need something new to work off of; Must-See)

Still these all look interesting,

PSH is playing Heavensbee.

Anyways, the last movie I saw was The Worlds End. And the trailers were...

Catching Fire
Thor: The Dark World
Ender's Game

Oddly three trailers I expected but never saw before the same movie.

In front of This is the End (Returned in wake of James Franco's Comedy Central roast)

Delivery Man (This one can't be as mediocre as The Internship, right? Will See, paired w/Frozen)
Oldboy (Spike Lee's next, if not his first, attempt at a thriller. No Interest)
Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa (Sunday Matinee)
Machete Kills (No Interest)

Oddly enough, nothing from feature distributor Sony. I had expected trailers for Cloudy 2 and either Captain Phillips or American Hustle. Oh well, no matter.

In front of The Wizard of Oz (Quite the experience in IMAX 3D)

Grace Unplugged (A teen music drama, with a religious theme. Had no idea what this movie was about. No Interest)
Free Birds (Might check this out, but doubtful)
Walking With Dinosaurs (Not unless it gets any award season love)
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (Not sure on this one, since I felt lost during Unexpected Journey; The one proper IMAX trailer in batch)

In front of Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 (in 3D):

Ender's Game (Great book, better live up to such; Will-See)
The Lego Movie (And I am officially sick of it; Will-See)
Free Birds (Might-See, but not in 3D)
The Nut Job (A Canadian cartoon featuring rodents involved in a legume heist; A trailer I was not expecting; A movie I'm certain I will not be seeing)
Walking With Dinosaurs (Again, only if it gets any major noms)
Frozen (Must-See, obviously; But an incredible letdown that instead of the awesome new trailer that debuted Thursday, we got that comparatively stupid teaser we've seen a million times. I wonder, did anyone else who saw Cloudy 2 in 3D have the same problem, and that the new trailer only came with 2D prints?)
All trailers in 3D, except for Ender's Game

And finally, nothing from the film's distributor. I feel Sony probably owed us that new trailer for Robocop, or at least Pompeii. But again, neither of those two are meant for a family audience, so shouldn't complain much.

In front of Don Jon (Had no idea I'd see this flick, but turned to be enjoyable):

Delivery Man (Will-See, same night with Frozen)
Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa (The next shock-and-awe picture, Probably Worth My Time)
Her (Spike Jonze's next feature. Joaquin Phoenix falls for an operating system, voiced by Scarlett Johanssen; Must-See)
American Hustle (David O. Russell's new film. Can't expect anything less than brilliance after Silver Linings; Must-See)
About Time (Groundhog Day meets The Vow, I think? Might-See, eventually)
Out of the Furnace (A crime thriller set in the Rust Belt with Christian Bale; No Interest)

Placed in front of Gravity (I expect I'll write up something for that film's thread here eventually):
#1-3 in 2D, #4-6 in 3D

Grudge Match (Rocky vs. Raging Bull in the ultimate boxing comedy; Will-See, hopefully on Christmas Night with Walter Mitty)
The Monuments Men (This one I could probably share with my brother who lives for memorable war stories; Might Check Out)
Out of the Furnace (Family and Crime usually mix okay, but not in this case; No Interest)
Thor: The Dark World (Finally just warmed up to the world of Marvel, better be worth it; Must-See)
47 Ronin (Keanu Reeves in the one movie that can tank worse than Lone Ranger; No Interest)
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (Not exactly a fan of middle-earth, but Might Check Out)

Before Machete Kills (BEST MOVIE EVER, btw)

Jackass Presents Bad Grandpa (not a Jackass fan, so I'll pass. I did get a chuckle or two out of the trailer against my better judgement, though)
Olsboy (the original is a GREAT movie, and while I'm not so sure if Spike Lee is going to match that here, I wouldn't be against giving him the benefit of the doubt)
Homefront (yeah, this one looks kind of stupid, but perhaps stupid in a fun way. Not my first choice, but if any friends want me to go, I'd consider it)

Frozen (same old teaser trailer, unfortunately)
The Lego Movie
Rio 2

In front of Captain Phillips (Surely got my heart pounding; easily one of 2013's best):

Saving Mr. Banks (A Must-See for any and every Disney fan out there)
Grudge Match (If you have to decide between this and Anchorman 2 as your one comedy for the last two weeks of 2013, go for both. Must-See)
The Book Thief (This year's Life of Pi. Won't pique my interest until the Oscar noms are announced. It's bound to get some love)
Lone Survivor (Mark Wahlberg in a misguided war thriller. No Interest)
American Hustle (David O. Russell's next film; Nice use of ELO in this new trailer; Must-See)
The Monuments Men (Will See this only if i can convince my war-enthusiast younger brother to tag along)

In front of "Turbo" (this was at the second-run theater where I saw "Epic"):

Despicable Me 2
Planes
The Smurfs 2
How To Train Your Dragon 2

In front of The Fifth Estate (Which I caught last Sunday, have just been focused on everything else around me)

American Hustle (Must-See)
Her (Must-See)
About Time (Might Check Out, Eventually)
The Book Thief (Only if it receives any major nominations)
Saving Mr. Banks (Must-See, For Obvious Reasons)
Delivery Man (Will-See)

In front of Bad Grandpa (No surprise, it was roll-in-the-aisle hilarious)

Oldboy (Spike Lee's remake of a foreign crime thriller; Just does not interest me, when there are much better options for Thanksgiving)
Grudge Match (Must-See, especially for those who live for the good old days)
Devil's Due (Was not aware of this film; Just another horror movie; No Interest)
RoboCop (I've yet to see the original, but I can already imagine you could never remake a classic; Still, I might give this a shot)
Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones (Spinoff feature for the long-standing franchise; Its ties with the Day of the Dead phenomena might be the convincing I need to give this a shot in Second-Run)
Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (The long-overdue follow-up to one of the greatest comedies of the 2000s; Must-See, Day 1)

In front of Free Birds (Rather mediocre, but it eeks by) (All in 3D):
The Nut Job (Usually, by MLK weekend I'm still recovering from the brunt of top-level holiday season features; No Interest)
The Lego Movie (Liam Neeson's Good Cop-Bad Cop routine made this new trailer for me; Must-See)
Mr. Peabody and Sherman (Breathing new life into a cartoon legend; Must-See)
Frozen (Still one trailer behind, really? Odds are good we'll see Trailer 3 in front of Thor; Must-See, but you already knew that).

In front of Thor: The Dark World

47 Ronin (hmm, I'm not sure when this classic story was adapted last. I know that Japan made a LOT of them before WWII. But it looks pretty exciting anyway.)
Delivery Man (this looks pretty stupid, but dammit, I'll watch anything with Cobie Smulders in it, short of Nicholas Sparks. Chris Platt is also a plus.)
Captain America: The Winter Solider (but I'll take Cobie in this movie over that any day. Wild horses couldn't stop me from seeing it opening day.)

In front of Thor: The Dark World (A vast improvement over the first film, which seemed like a cobbled-up salad used to introduce the character ahead of The Avengers)
[All in 3D, unless otherwise noted]

RoboCop (2D; Need to watch the original first, but on my radar)
Delivery Man (2D; A perfect comedy for Thanksgiving weekend; Will-See, as a warm-up before seeing Frozen [again*])
47 Ronin (This one may tank just as bad as RIPD; No Interest)
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (I felt so lost during Round 1; No Interest, unless something like Walter Mitty or American Hustle sells out)
I, Frankenstein (The next Underworld? Possibly; No Interest)
X-Men: Days of Future Past (The big family reunion, to fight an evil greater than themselves; No Interest, as I've not seen any of the other films, but that could change)
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (Marvel's next big adventure, should be a major deal, Must-See)

*I say again, because I witnessed the movie in a preview screening on Thursday (Anything in the form of pre-show entertainment came in that Frozen-flavored Adventures by Disney ad, and promos for 25 Days of Christmas and the upcoming 1-hour Sofia special airing 11/24). I'll say it right here, the bar has been raised even further. Frozen will serve as this generation's Beauty and the Beast. And yes, they had that much-ballyhooed Mickey short, which also rocked.
