I need assistance getting my 20GB Playstation 3 Online. I had bought one of these, but it doesn't seem to be working for it. Is there something else I need to do?

Well, I don't have a PS3 (PlayStation 3) or Home Line like network adaptors, but I'll try my hand anyway.
So, we need a bit more information about what is happening.
Things to check:
Are all three lights lit up. Assuming you have the same as the model on ebay, the pwr is the general power to say that it is on, the pl light I'm guessing is to say that the adaptors have recognised each other and the eth is to say the network is connected (Two devices eg your PS3 and your router).
If you only have one light on, then your adaptors may either be not working properly or the wiring in your house may not be set up in a state where they can connect. I would try connecting them to other power points to see if they work (in the same room as well) or even on a multi plug power board.
If you do have two lights (Should be PWR and PL), make sure you are using computer network cables (RJ45) and not telephone cables (the plugs will fit, but they are smaller). If the cables came in the box of the power line adaptors, then they should be fine.
If all three lights are on, try restarting everything, that can sometimes help. Otherwise, if you have a another computer you can hook up to the power line adaptor that you have the PS3 hooked up to, then I would hook that up via the same cable (make sure to disable the wifi on the computer if it is enabled for connection to your router), so that you can check the internet on that. If that works, then the power line network is not the fault and you may have to reset the networking on the PS3.
Well, I'm needed for something else, so hope this helps (and doesn't sound confusing et cetera).
Edit: Also make sure you read the manual and use the troubleshooting guide. The box in the photo also says about a quick connect button.

Good to hear. So what was the solution to the problem? Just out of curiosity. Oh, and I've heard Journey is an absolutely beautiful game or rather experience. http://nz.playstation.com/journey/
But good to know after the last few years (or more) of being unconnected, you are now connected.

This is the first time I've connected my PS3 to the Internet since I bought it 2005. Luckily the income taxes my parents got allowed me to get it. When I first heard of these power-line adapters, they were like $400 and too pricey at the time and my life was busy with my Ulcerative Colitis and other medical issues causing me chaos and being admitted into the hospital because of it on occasion.
EDIT. This will be hard to try to work with my PS3 online. I have trouble trying to work my new Kindle and I don't touch Smartphones. Other than Tablets and Smartphones I'm good at technology. I can't believe it has been 8 years since I got my PS3. I'll probably at some point get a PS4 but not right at the release of them. One I want to wait to see how they perform, Two, I don't have 300 Beanie Babies to sell to get that kind of money.
