I've never been much for fan fiction. It's a cool idea, and I've dabbled with it some, but can never really get into it, at least not to the level that some do. I'd like to read others', though.

I like fanfiction too! It was all I did online before I found UD! I have a few (though not very good) fanfictions at FanFiction.com though none of them are finished (or maybe one is? I don't remember) and I haven't updated any of them since December. I feel bad because I promised to do so this summer and its summer and I have nothing written. I think I've lost my readers too b/c they used to e-mail me and bug me to update. Oh well, maybe I'll be inspired and finish my first one.

Though I used to hate fanfiction b/c it was people taking other people's characters and histories and fictional worlds. It's like stealing their accomplishments! It's very very sad! I can't say that anymore though b/c I write fanfics too . I also hated it (and partly still do) b/c you rarely see very very good ones, serious ones, and true-to-the-book-non-alternate-universe-ones. I always see stupid romances or spoofs or funny ones that totally change the characters or ones where the writer puts him/herself in the story so they could get together with a character or put characters/actors they like together in a story,etc. That's what I think is probably the worst thing ppl do at fanfiction. It's very annoying and I know someone here is gonna yell at me and say just don't read them so I better stop ranting.

I'm trying to write a Disney one and I started one but I don't like it so I want to start a new one. Most of mine are Harry Potter fanfics (which is the majority of the site itself...probably over 129837416 HP fics by now...). If you want to look me up, my penname is the same as here.

i am writing a story right now that i hope will made into a movie. after watching movies like LotR and Star Wars series, i thought i could write a story and so far some people told me that it sounds good.
