The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Impressions

Post by Satoshi »

Saw it today at 2:25. I didn't know what to expect because until I saw the trailer for the movie, I had never heard of the LXG. Anyways.....

The acting, led by Sean Connery (who can still kick major butt by the way ;)) was superb. Because of the great performances by the actors, it's easy to understand the characters they play. And since there is a wide variety of characters that are each totally different, that's quite important.

The action was awesome. It's like a mixture of guns, swords and supernatural powers, with all of them blending very nicely. When I saw the first action scene with the LXG, I knew it was going to be a great movie. :D

All of it was absolutely wonderful. It's got enough surprises, predictable and unpredictable, to keep you, umm, what's the word? I don't know. Maybe you know what I'm talking about, lol.

Alright enough of what I think. What did you guys think? Provided you've seen it of course, lol. :)

I believe the word you're looking for could be a number of things; interested, entertained, awake ( ). I have not seen it yet, but it is the last film of the summer crazy movie season that I really wanna see in theaters. Looks great. Thanks a lot for the post, now I am certain I want to see it!
What would this wretched world be like without Disney?

Just got my UK Daredevil DVD this morning and on an insert inside it says TLXG is coming to Cinemas in August in the UK.

No it's not! It's been held back until October
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database
