The picture of a young Mike was really cool! I'm interested to see what else they do with this.

Source: http://pixarne.ws/complex/Andrew Stanton went on to discuss Monsters University, saying that they came across the idea and it worked, they weren’t searching for another Monsters. He also mentioned how Pixar “didn’t want to go to Boo” how that was “everybody’s private memory.” While Stanton did mention that it is the originals that keep Pixar going, the sequels are comfort food and to expect more of them.

Eh. The only non-TS film I can think would have a good sequel is The Incredibles--I loved that one and I would love another (more Elastigirl and Edna!). A sequel to Up or WALL E would just be weird.Sotiris wrote:While Stanton did mention that it is the originals that keep Pixar going, the sequels are comfort food and to expect more of them.

Listening to most often lately:

I agree. The Incredibles is probably the only Pixar film that I felt seemed open-ended.Disney's Divinity wrote:Eh. they had a "no sequel unless they are as good as the original" policy...ajmrowland wrote:^I'm not sure they really had that.
now apparently that goes in the trash bin. I was never expecting Monsters Uni to be any good to be honest (I am still giving it the benefit of the doubt though) and now saying that we are going to see more sequels coming...
