The Disney Movie Rewards Discussion & Info Thread Vol. 3
I got... wait for it...
Disney Karaoke Series - That's So Raven. Other than the title song it's all horrible songs by one of my least favorite Disney talents, Raven. Ugh! Other than Jessie McCartney everything mentioned would be 100x better.
Still waiting for my Ratatouille set though I haven't even received a shipping confirmation on that one.

I suppose I should be thankful I didn't get Karaoke, ha. I might give this one to my niece. Only thing is, the singers are all pretty outdated, so I'm not sure she would like it... So maybe I'll keep it...

I wish I had known they were going to do this because I would have waited to enter my code for Beauty and the Beast. "Offer good and purchases made between 12/30/11 – 2/12/12" Looks like I entered it a month too soon.DarthPrime wrote:My neighbor got one when entering in her code last week. I entered my code last year, so no ticket.AliceinWonderland wrote:Woohoo. check your special offers.. if you put in Beauty and the Beast you get a free ticket to see it in 3d!

Well I finally got my surprise CD yesterday and what I got was a Billy Ray Cyrus CD from 2007! UGGH!!!! I cannot tell you the amount of c**p that I got from my wife and kids for getting that CD.
On another question, my daughters want me to redeem some of my points to get that Radio Disney tour (I have close to 20000 points, and assuming it is avaiable again). I have heard stories that Disney asks you to prove those points for those high-point redemption prizes. How tough do they make it for you? The reason that I bring it up is that some of those points were for DVD titles that I no longer own since I converted to blu-ray, and the same goes for some blu-ray titles that I no longer own once they came out with a 3D version. The other question, if they give me a hard time and refuse to award me the tour, do those 15000 points get reinstated into my account?

If you are going to redeem it i would call to make sure first. I've been told when i have called that you need the proof of purchases (maybe like how they verify now with a photo of the back of the dvd, i dont know) I've saved my receipts and rewards codes just in case.ValenciaJoe wrote:Well I finally got my surprise CD yesterday and what I got was a Billy Ray Cyrus CD from 2007! I think I may do that (to call them). Do you think that my length of time in being in DMC and that fact that I have not redeemed that much points may help me?AliceinWonderland wrote: If you are going to redeem it i would call to make sure first. Also, has anyone redeemed any of the two tours and gone on them?

I knew of a guy who redeemed over 10,000 points for an hdtv (about 5 years ago) & they took the points & asked for pop for all of them. Long story short he didn't get the tv or his points back. Never heard of anyone redeeming for one of the tours but they do have that clause in the terms that they reserve the right to require pop for any prize they deem they need to.
15 gallon 7 pint blood donor as of 1-4-11. Done donating. Apparently having Cancer makes you kind of ineligible to donate.

Might be worth it to ask the question on their Facebook group. I'm close to having enough points to go for a studios tour, but I don't know when the heck I'm gonna get a chance to go down to Burbank and Anaheim - it would be the perfect addition to a trip down to Disneyland.ValenciaJoe wrote:On another question, my daughters want me to redeem some of my points to get that Radio Disney tour (I have close to 20000 points, and assuming it is avaiable again). Here's a different question...
Does anyone know if DMR is still doing the anniversary thing? My membership anniversary is coming up next month. Last year I somehow missed out on the offer - I got the email, but I missed the deadline.

No one has gotten their Mystery DVD yet? Ha. Here's hoping some of us get something decent...

Holy Cow, Pixarfan! We posted that at exactly the same time! Even after the CD disappointment, I keep checking the mail like Ralphie waiting on his Radio Orphan Annie Secret Decoder Pin.

Looks like one of the new rewards is a new tour deal, the Disney Studio plus the El Capitan Theater: http://www.disneymovierewards.go.com/re ... -tour-6433
