GODDAMNIT, GEORGE LUCAS! I mean really, there is no point to this. I mean, George Lucas will always rerelease Star Wars, but add in new shit. Many because of money or something.

I couldn't find the best one on YouTube of Shia saying, "No."

Just another ploy by Lucas to make some more money!!!

I know there is a generation out there who probably have never seen these movies on the big screen, so the 3-D, for whatever reason, was inevitable. I will not donate to the Lucasfilm pocketbooks with this release.

C'mon Hollywood, get some originality and give us some more quality movies like "Inception", "District 9" and more movies that challenge us to think just a little bit!!!
The only way to watch movies - Original Aspect Ratio!!!!
I LOVE my Blu-Ray Disc Player!

In the case of The Lion King, we at least wanted to introduce a new generation to a classic film. WHY would we want to introduce this new generation of kids to a bad film from 13 years ago when we have so much crap already? And in 3D no less!

God when will it end.

Actually, it was Disney's money-grubbing that gave us the re-release of The Lion King.

Not sure how George Lucas thinks Re releasing The Phantom Menace in 3D will make it any better. It will still have the same boring storyline, and Jar Jar FREAKING Binks to ruin it. At least, that's how most fans will view it, anyways. I find it mediocre overall (not great but not really bad either).

i like this film for what it is: a piece of a whole that ultimately is much better, including the tv show

Did you see the 4 part Umbara episodes of the Clone Wars recently? They were *really* good! I was kinda suprised at the level of violence in them but it is okay by me, heh.

Jar Jar Binks in 3D? I'll pass.

I assume the 3D releases will be the same transfers as the recent Blu-rays (just in 3D)?

Or will there be even more changes to the movies?

I wish lucas would start with the ORIGINAL TRILOGY instead, but he has destroyed that so much, he would probably replace the bartender on Tatooine with jar Jar binks.
Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.
