The St. Louis Cardinals capped a postseason nobody figured they’d be part of by defeating the Texas Rangers, 6-2, Friday night in Game 7 of the World Series. The resilient Redbirds couldn’t be vanquished

My sympathies go out to any Texan Rangers fans. They played one heck of a game these past 7 games. Both Teams and Players should be proud that they got to the world series, and forced it to give us 7 days of one of the most epic World Series I've ever seen (though maybe it has something to do with the 60" HDTV ) The Most Shocking, battle of a game was in Game 6.

Being a Rangers fan, Game 6 was an absolute beating. By the 7th inning, I knew we'd lost Game 7. The Rangers played an excellent season though. We'll be fine! :-)

Ok, first off, I'm not a baseball fan, my father is. I love soccer. Second off, the few moments when the planets aline and I care about baseball, I'm going to root for either the Dodgers or the Angels. Anyone else, I could care less, unless that team is beating the pulp out of the Yankees or the Giants (something that oddly rubbed off on me from my father).

That said, I'm aware of what an amazing comeback the Cardinals made to win it all. They should be proud, they worked hard. Texas fans shouldn't feel bad either, I understand they did awesome as well. Congrats all around.

People were setting off fireworks here last night after the win.

I have been living in St. Louis for the 1982,2006.,and 2011 world series wins.

I'm just glad it's finally over.

I am more of a hockey person, anyways.
