Other Animation SURVIVOR - Round 12 (Final Round! New Rule!)

Post by AwallaceUNC »

Voted out so far...
Round 1 - Recess: School's Out, Teacher's Pet
Round 2 - Doug's First Movie, Piglet's Big Movie
Round 3 - The Jungle Book 2, Dinosaur
Round 4 - James and the Giant Peach, Return To Neverland
Round 5 - The Tigger Movie, The Brave Little Toaster
Round 6 - Ducktales: The Movie- The Treasure Of The Lost Lamp*
Round 7 - A Goofy Movie
Round 8 - The Nightmare Before Christmas
Round 9 - A Bug's Life
Round 10 - Toy Story
Round 11 - Finding Nemo

Post your vote, and in 2 days, the winner will be announced.

Rule change: You are voting for the movie you want to win in this round, which is the exact opposite of how we've been playing it!!!
The final round will again be followed by a "Live Reunion" Discussion Thread!

For the purposes of the game, we'll use the site definition for 'Other Animation,' which is any animated film distributed by Disney, excluding Disney Feature Animation. This includes anything made by Walt Disney Television or Pixar, and any films that fall into special, outside categories of theatrical animation. You can see the site's list of Other Animation here.

You can talk about your reasons for your vote, but I ask that you put the full title of what you're voting for in bold letters so that it's easy for me to count them all in a hurry.

So, Survivors ready?? Come on in and vote FOR one of these two finalists to WIN the game:

Toy Story 2
Monsters, Inc.

Voting ends at 11:00 pm (EASTERN TIME) on Monday, June 14th.

*Began the transition to 1 movie leaving per round, instead of 2.

Phew! I'm glad Nemo left! When the game started, I was worried that its success would make it win here, and it's definitely more like a 5th place finish, imo. I LOVE Monsters, Inc, and won't be too horribly heartbroken if it wins. In fact, solely in terms of animation, I don't think CGI has ever been put to better use than in MI. But as an overall movie, Toy Story 2 really edges out all the competition.

Well, the second was better than the first which was close to the others and the second from the co was the least liked whereas the fourth could easily have won this race for it not being the fifth from the co but not to forget the sixth this year while at the time being whaiting for more from the co and the house of mouse but back to the game there's the problem of who should win which leads me back tothe start because the second was better than the first and better than th rest much like the first from the house that walt built because the first was the fairest of them all but when a movie is better than the fairest than it becomes the fairest. But who coulnd't forget Boo's first time she said "Kitty."

The Winner of Suvivor: Other Animation is....Toy Story 2

Monsters, Inc.

Love 'em both but I still think MI is hands down the best thing Pixar has ever done.
