It's Tuesday, you know what that means????????????

Post by dvdjunkie »

It's Tuesday and that means it's .45 cent wings tonight at Buffalo Wild Wings. Here I am thinking about dinner at this time of the day, and I have just answered the proverbial question: "What's for dinner?"

Buffalo Wild Wings is the champion among wings, and my favorite is either Asian Zing or Caribbean Jerk. My wife loves their Teriyaki, and my grandkids are the fans of Honey BBQ wings.

Yay!!!!! Tuesdays!!!! Yay!!! Buffalo Wild Wings!!! Get some tonight.

They also release CD's and DVD's on Tuesday, typically.

But... Tuesday is Taco Tuesday.

Yet both wings and tacos are delicious.

Here in Kansas, Monday is All-You-Can-Eat Tacos at The Taco Shop for just the purchase of a large drink plus $1. Total is $3.48.

Tuesday, it's Buffalo Wild Wings at .45 each at any of the four BWW in Wichita.

Wednesday, it's 50-cent Wings at Pizza Hut, minimum order of 10.

Thursday, it's All-You-Can-Eat BBQ Ribs at Jet BBQ for just $13.95, including your drink. (Non-alcoholic, of course!!)

Friday, it's All-You-Can-Eat Fish and Shrimp at Wichita Fish Company for just $11.99 plus your beverage of choice.

So that is what we have here in Wichita, Kansas. Best bets are Monday and Tuesday nights. Have done the ribs only twice in the past year.

The Rib Crib has All-You-Can-Eat ribs for $10.95 plus your beverage every Tuesday night also.

Woah. So many food specials throughout the week. Anyway, I prefer Buffalo Wild Wings on Thursdays since their boneless wings are on sale. :D

Thursdays? Hm . . .

I prefer Boneless Wing Thursdays. They're easier for me to eat than the regular wings. :)

Boneless Wings aren't really 'wings' they are more like Chicken Nuggets from McDonald's. I tried them once and found them to be over salty and 'chewy'.

I don't understand, so I'll ask. What do you mean they are easier to eat than wings and drummies? It's not like you have to use a knife and a fork to eat the wings and drummies. To each his own, I guess.

Also wanted to add that on Monday's "Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que" have their all-you-can-eat ribs night for $15.99.

I've never really seen the appeal of wings. I dislike the Buffalo sauce, and even with a sauce I like, it seems like a lot of work and mess to get the little bits of meat on the bone, which is so smothered in sauce that all you taste is the sauce instead of the meat. Plus, they are pretty greasy (which is the appeal to some people, I guess.)

My mom said when she was growing up, that was the part of the chicken they threw out! She was 75 when she died in 2009.

For that matter, I'm not a big fan of ribs, either - They can be tasty, but a TON of mess and work to get to it. I guess the same goes for lobster, but I've never actually had one in the shell.

I probably should've said less messy. I do enjoy the regular chicken wing once in a while but I can just stab a fork in my boneless wings, dip em deep in my cup of blue cheese and enjoy. The regular wings can get sauce heavy at times and it's hard for me to work around the bones without getting messing. I'm the type of person who requires tons of napkins for eating.

You evidently have a very poor Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant, or you don't understand the concept of the 40+ sauces you have to choose from. And there is no work involved in eating wings and drummies, I would say that you are just, and this is just an opinion, spoiled by the knife and fork. They provide all the napkins you could want, and even have moist towelettes for you for free. And I have never found the Buffalo Wild Wings lacking in taste either.

Ribs are the easiest thing to eat. They are basically meat on the bone and you just eat to the bone and go on to the next one. Most places provide the ribs just plain and have several bottles of different sauces to choose from, but again, this just sounds like you are a "very dainty" person and don't like to get a little messy. That's what makes ribs, and chicken wings and drummies so much fun.

Boneless wings from Buffalo Wild Wings are made with actual cuts from all white chicken meat that are breaded, and have the exact same seasonings used on the regular wings. McDonald's Chicken McNuggets . . . well, they're made from white chicken meat (among other parts), but are ground up and pressed into various shapes before being battered, deep-fried, and frozen before being sent out to the restaurants for further frying. Hardly a fair comparison. :p

Personally I prefer boneless wings because I love white meat and I actually can't stomach bones, tendons, skin, etc. And I can't say I've ever found their boneless wings to be salty or chewy, lol.
