MacBook Pro

Post by PeterPanfan »

So, in about two paychecks I'll have enough for the 15 " MacBook Pro.

I was originally going to get an iPad 2, but decided that since I would much rather have a laptop (I already have an iPod Touch and an Android phone, so the iPad 2 was actually really unnecessary, tbh).

I was just wondering if anyone on UD had a MacBook Pro (or MacBook or MacBook Air), since I'm looking for just some reassurance that I'm not just wasting $1,500.

I was talking to one of my friends, who didn't find it justifiable that I was planning on spending an extra $300 for two inches of extra screen, but the 13 " does look pretty small, and the 15 " seems to be much faster, and is able to hold more storage, etc.

ANYWAY, reviews, recommendations, etc. are welcome and encouraged in this thread. Thanks!

I've never seen a 15 " in person, so do you think the screen size is fine?

I have an MBP also, and I too love it. About screen size, it depends on whatever size your computer screen is now. For example, if you are going from a smaller to larger screen, it will feel bigger. Same goes vice versa. So, you will only notice it if you have something to compare to.

Another factor, take in your backpack size. If you want to carry your laptop in there, think whether a 17" will fit.

sorry for my late response. But yeah, I think the size is perfect. I find 13 " a bit too small. Unless you plan on carrying it around. In that case 13 " is a bit more convenient.

I use a 13 " and it's the perfect size for me, perfect lap size that is. :)
