Yes. You just go to the Second Screen website,download the app, type in your magic code, and make sure your computer has a mic capable of picking up the sound of the TV playing the film. If not, you can still access all the Second Screen content without having to synch up the program to the movie.

my desktop mic broke and im not sure if it would work now(it might). I have a headset, but that probably wont do it. I have a BD-Rom drive in my computer though, but no built-in mic.

Always enjoyed this film, few things I forgot bout it, like Flower having a voice at all (crazy I know but I hadn't paid attention to it when I was lil) and the raindrop song. Truely breathtaking, the animation sets the stakes real high when compared to a computer animated films, these guys MADE history by pushin animation beyond it's animation.

I watched Bambi on Blu-ray for the first time ever today and I loved it. I love this movie. I also watched some of the bonus stuff on the Blu-ray. One that I really liked was Two Leaves and I remember that from the book.

Later I plan to watch these 3 episodes from "The Andy Griffith Show" since all 3 of them have something to do with Bambi.
1. The Merchant of Mayberry
2. Andy Forecloses
3. Christmas Story

Bambi is #1 on Blu-ray for a second week!

From Blu-ray.com:

"For the second week, Bambi was the top-selling title on Blu-ray, according to data from Nielsen VideoScan for the week ended March 13. Jackass 3 got 40% of its total disc sales from Blu-ray and was the top-selling in overall packaged media, but only second for Blu-ray. The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season performed strongly, coming in at third place."

Gorgeous packaging! I was very excited to get home for spring break to see it waiting for me. (My family's alright too, but they aren't exclusive Premium Packaging!)

My one disappointment is that it didn't really come with extras like the Sword in the Stone premium package did, no lithographs or anything. And it would have been nice to have the little packaging that came with a book, like Snow White and BatB diamond editions did.

From what I can tell, no. Bambi comes with a Blu-Ray+DVD in "exclusive packaging" (that makes the whole thing look like a book) and a Certificate of Authenticity.

Yeah no extras at all. Bummer, since the Premium Packaging for Sword in the Stone and Alice in Wonderland both came with little goodies.

That's not really true. Animation of course has less detail than actual film, so they can get away with removing the grain more easily.

No it didn't. It was scanned in 8K, with the restoration done in 4K.

In the UD review images comparing the Platinum and Diamond editions of Bambi, I noticed it seems the line that a circled is more extended in the previous Platinum version.

Please don't dismiss it immediately and actually look to try and see if you can really find what I mean, that the line looks slightly longer in the Platinum image, meaning in the new restoration they ended up painting over some of that line:

Scanned at twice the resolution the restoration was made in? How much detail were they hoping to get out of it?
