My grandmother had an accident

Post by Mickeyfan1990 »

I was on the computer, minding my own buisness when all of a sudden I heard a crash from downstairs. My grandmother fell and hit her head on the wall near the front door of her apartment (my house contains my family, and our grandparents from both sides of the family). Her head was bleeding and my uncle called my mom and then the police. The police came as did the ambulance and fixed her right up. The good news, she's gonna be OK but she has to go the hospital until further notice. My grandma has fallen on certain occasions (maybe like 4 times each year) but never have I thought this would happen to her. She drives me crazy but I did not want this to happen to her. Like I said, she'll be fine but keep her in your prayers.

My grandmother's OK (as I thought). My mom called and said the catscan showed normal. Grandma is on her way home with my mom and uncle. So glad she's fine. :)

That's great news! :D

I have to admit that I love the grandmother I still have, and it would be horrible if anything like that happened. So glad your family's doing okay. :)

That's so scary. I remember when my grandmother took a tumble over a coffeetable; I was alone with her at the time, and had to phone my aunt and uncle over to help me with her (my grandmother was beginning to develop dementia at that point). I know how scary it can be.
