75 points each, or 50% more than a regular Disney movie ticket (like the non-IMAX Tron).

I went to go put in two codes this morning for a couple of blu-rays that I got last night from the Disney Movie Club. One was for the new Tinkerbell blu-ray and the other was for the Snow White DVD/blu-ray combo. These are new to my collection (though I have the Snow White blu-ray/DVD combo (which is in a different packaging)). When I put in the codes, I got an error message that I have already validated these codes, which is funny since the codes are from new blu-rays in my collection and come from sealed packages. Anyone else ever get that message on new codes?

^^^ It's never happened to me personally but I've heard of it happening, and it's not surprising considering they recycle the codes eventually. I've entered codes on a couple of occasions where it prompted me to choose the movie title from two options.

The multiple codes for one title deal is a big problem for DMR. I know I entered a code for Nightmare Before Christmas BR and the option came up for it and Enchanted. Someone claimed my code on accident so I had to claim Enchanted. One person can also claim both movies from the same code at the same time and screw someone else.

Your best bet is to call DMR on Monday and explain what happened.

Posted on the DMR Facebook page tonight:

"We've got something really exciting to announce on Monday, so be sure you've signed up to receive our emails, check the website or right here on Facebook Monday morning to find out what it is! In the meantime, guess away in the comments below!"

Hmm, I wonder what this could be? :o

Hopefully it's a double points day for Valentines. I've got a stock-pile of Blu-Ray Combo points I need to enter, since there was not a double points day for Christmas.

that's what I hope, too...I have several codes I've been holding onto just for a double points day.

Does anyone have duplicate DMR points and willing to trade? PM me. I have a couple of BD's I bought twice but DMR only allows you to enter one code per movie.

I have an extra code for:
Nightmare Before Christmas BD ( worth 125 pts)
Beauty and the beast BD(worth 125 pts)
Alice in Wonderland 3D (worth 200 pts)

I'm confused by how people actually obtain duplicate DMR points for trade. I mean, you would only buy one copy a film in one particular release form and you would probably submit those points, so how do people get duplicates for trade? :?

Just looking at the promo they kicked off today. It's a sweepstakes contest along with 4 days of some sort of bonuses (like the Christmas promo):
http://www.disneymovierewards.go.com/pr ... akes/heart
2/28: We (heart) giving
3/14: We (heart) movies
3/28: We (heart) rewards
4/11: We (heart) magic
I get a kick out of the contest. You can win a trip to the D23 Expo at the Anaheim Convention Centre, but... no tickets to go across the street to Disneyland?

Right now you can get 50 bonus points with any reward you order.

Here's hoping for a double points day somewhere in there.

I couldn't agree more. A double points day is long overdue, and there's no better time than now (last year)! But then again, they extended it last year, so maybe they'll extend it again?

As popular as I'm sure they were, there's no guarantee we'll ever see another double points day again... especially the longer they go without one. I wouldn't be surprised if they got overloaded with redemptions last time, if members started hoarding their codes after the first go-around (I know I did!).

As soon as I saw the headline about today's "special announcement", my first guess was that it would be another lame sweepstakes (like the one where one person would win their wish list). :P I hope the "We (heart) giving" above translates to another half-price sale -- those can be almost as good as a double points day, if you have the points.

Isn't this the same promotion as last year? Where the rewards day was discounts and magic was a wish list giveaway.

Does anyone have a phone number for DMR? I have the issue with not being able to enter points for blu-rays/titles that I have never owned before, and they still don't understand my problem after a number of emails. Perhaps speaking with a person would help.

Thanks!

I've been having trouble with the Bambi coupon printing, even though it was alright with my printer for Alice and Beauty and the Beast. Any ideas for what to do?

Why does Disney keep on saying that they're going to end DMR when that obviously isn't going to be the case for a while?

It's pointless IMO.
