Toy Story

Post by nilyvn »

Hi,
It's a great news. Because the third edition will feature a 3D version, Disney Digital 3D went back and recreated the original Toy Story and Toy Story 2 in 3D versions as well - and released those in October of 2009, when fans in theaters first saw a sneak peek at the third edition. The movie studio has been building anticipation for the third installment by showing sneak peeks in the Blu Ray DVD release. They even allowed Steve Jobs to feature an ad in his Apple iPhone event in April for added exposure.
This is when we get to meet all of the new Toy Story 3 characters, including Lotso, a strawberry-scented teddy bear who leads the pack like Woody led the toys in Andy's room. The escapades continue throughout the film as Andy's toys try to make their way back to him out of loyalty and love.

I don't like that they removed the old Walt Disney CG logo at the beginning of this movie. Especially since it was an integral part of the opening shot (the light blue background for the castle dissolving into the blue sky of Andy's room wallpaper). :x
