Luke has just posted his great review of Mickey Mouse Vol. 2 (congrats Luke)! http://www.ultimatedisney.com/mmlivingcolor2.html
The Digital Review also have their review of On The Front Lines: http://www.thedigitalreview.com/forum/s ... .php?t=769
Not nearly as complete as Luke's, but still a nice read (and, besides, they have a few new screencaps and a cool picture of the packaging).

Ya, awesome reviews Luke!
I wonder where DVD movie Guide's reviews are. I'd be surprised if Colin hasn't gotten the Treasures.
Ernest Rister said over at HTF that he created a 39 PAGE REVIEW for Andy & crew at IGN! Can't wait for these plus the rest of DVDToons, Digital review, and of course, Luke's reviews! These sets sound like the best so far!

Colin said he has the DVDs already, but he is taking too long to review them.
As for the DVD IGN review, I wonder why they are holding it... It seems it is ready but it hasn't been posted.
I should learn to NOT read DVD reviews before I have the shinny disc in my hands, so the "factor surprise" would be bigger... but that is unavoidable!!

Andy Patrizio has left to E3 and won't be back till Friday:
Could he be talking about Ernest's review?? BTW, Ernest is emailingl free copies of his review to people who ask him for it (it's very descriptive at 39 pagesThis will be the last batch of news and reviews until Friday. Yours truly is headed to the Los Angeles Convention Center for the next two days to lend a hand to the overworked, underslept staff covering E3. I'll be meeting with Bandai and checking out Everquest 2 for the PC game site, since I've been playing EQ for three years now. Other than that, it's whatever I can find.
I'll be back Friday with, er, something for a review, plus news.
O ya, and DVDToons has posted their On the Front Lines review: http://www.dvdtoons.com/reviews/301
DVD Movie Guide has posted their review on MMLC:VOL 2

Hi Deadstone and everyone else.
I am also an International customer, living in Sydney Australia and my order was completed and shipped on the 14th of May.
How great is that!
I wasn't expecting the order to be completed till the 18th.
I've been going over all my other treasures series as I'm so excited bout these ones.
Can't wait especially for the "tomorrowland" one!

Got mine today and they are absolutely amazing. Enough stuff in here to take dasd to go through. This will go down as a momentous step in the output of the Disney legacy. One item I thought clever on this set, was the use of period big band music which plays during the menus. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned it in the reviews I've read.

DVDToons has the last of their Treasures reviewed: THE CHRONOLOGICAL DONALD VOL. 1 - http://www.dvdtoons.com/reviews/302
As reviewer Del Walker put it best: "Of the four “Treasures” titles released in May of 2004, this one, “The Chronological Donald” seemingly has been given the least attention. This is a shame as it is the only “Wave 3” title which features “golden age” cartoon films produced by the Walt Disney Studio when it was really in its prime, the years of 1936-1941.yoda_four wrote:DVDToons has the last of their Treasures reviewed: THE CHRONOLOGICAL DONALD VOL. 1 - http://www.dvdtoons.com/reviews/302

First what is the shame and On the Front Lines and possibly Tomarrowland were produced during Disney's Golden Age.As reviewer Del Walker put it best: "Of the four “Treasures” titles released in May of 2004, this one, “The Chronological Donald” seemingly has been given the least attention. This is a shame as it is the only “Wave 3” title which features “golden age” cartoon films produced by the Walt Disney Studio when it was really in its prime, the years of 1936-1941.
