In 2005, I was a regular diner at Earl of Sandwich, often getting the Caribbean Jerk Chicken and a tomato soup. Occasionally, I'd sample some of their other sandwiches. And one time, an EoS guy gave me a free experimental cheesesteak sandwich. I didn't like it much, as nothing beats a real Philly cheesesteak from Pat's...or Geno's...depending on who you're loyal to.
But anyway, Earl and I have had a quite close relationship for a long time. I've never had a bad sandwich from them and the only thing I dislike is their (understandably) rising prices. It used to be $4.95 for a sandwich, and now I think they're $6-something.

BTW, Newark Airport is getting an Earl of Sandwich in one of their terminals next year. From now on when I fly, I'll take a 2+ hour drive to Newark rather than a 30-minute drive to Philly, simply so I can get an Earl of Sandwich.
