I just read the article (bad Amy, I should read, then post), and Megan Fox is in POTC4? Um, it's not on IMDB, and that's news to me...? Is that a mistake?

^ Nice find, atlantica!!!
it's back to work for the actress, who will play Angelica, daughter of the evil Pirate Blackbeard (British actor Ian McShane)
So, there's a Spanish daughter of a British man. Will Ian McShane (Idk who that is) make his accent more Spanish-like, or will Penelope make hers more British-like? Or will we assume that her mom had an accent and that's where she got it from? I'm only asking because all the times I've heard Penelope, she has a heavy accent. I haven't seen that many of her films, so maybe she has covered her accent and I just don't know it.

I was thinking the same thing Amy ! Ian McShane is a very British actor, with a vey British accent .... and FYI, he was in a long running soap in the UK called Lovejoy years ago ... thats really all I know that hes done ! My mum says she seen him on stage and he was amazing, so hopefully he should be good :)

Penelope never (maybe she just cant do it) changes her accent, so I guess she would have grown up with her mother in some exotic location, and is only getting to know her father now ? Who knows .... :?

I think I will miss Will and Elizabeth though; seems strange seeing pictures from it with no sign of them !

I hadn't thought of that, but that's very possible!

And I've long ago accepted the fact that Will and Elizabeth are off doing their own thing. Thank goodness for the end of AWE, since I think that that gave them great closure for the audience. Apparently not for everyone, but I'd at least be more sad had we not had that ending.

Loving that teaser trailer. So nice to see Jack Sparrow break the fourth wall.

As for Ian McShane, unfortunately I've not seen as much of his work as I'd like to have. From his recent stuff, he was excellent in "Kings" (2009 drama on NBC, unceremoniously dumped to a Saturday night timeslot, thus getting killed by low ratings) and this year's "The Pillars of the Earth" (on Starz) which started last Friday and also features POTC4 actor Sam Claflin.

I expect he'll be great as Blackbeard.
