Get lucky with The Simpsons Complete 13th Season on DVD/Blu!

The Simpsons 13th season is coming to DVD and (to a suprise) Blu-Ray August 24th! Marking it the 3rd time The Simpsons on Hi-Def, but the first time an early season in the SD era has made it to Hi-Def. TvshowsonDVD.com has the report!:

WOOHOO! Can barely stand the old stuff in HD though. and besides, the Blu-Ray wouldn't match my other 12 seasons

I'm so relieved they have commentaries though!

Ugh but did they have to go with Ralph?? There are SO MANY more DESERVING characters to be on the cover of a season: Flanders, Moe, Mr. Burns, Chief Wiggum.... whateverrrr at least it's coming out with commentaries

Still not sure if I'm gonna get this one. Seasons 10 - 12 were a pretty big letdown for me, so I may not continue to buy the series. Maybe I'll wait for Black Friday when its $12 - $15.

y'know, im gonna start watching these DVDs from the beginning. Im not a major fan of the show, but they're totally worth it.

I am not so sure I will buy this when it comes out.

For me, this was the point the series started to lose its charm.

I MIGHT get it if it comes to a decent sale price (like, say, $20).
