Guttenberg, Selleck And Danson Reteam For Another Three Men Sequel
Actor Steve Guttenberg will reunite with Tom Selleck and Ted Danson for a new sequel to 1987 hit movie Three Men And A Baby.

The acting trio scored huge box office success with their comedic turn as bachelors forced to look after a girlfriend's kids after they are left holding the baby.

They made a sequel in 1990, titled Three Men and a Little Lady, and now, 18 years later, Guttenberg, Selleck and Danson are set to reprise their roles for a new installment.

Guttenberg, 50, says, "Tom Selleck, Ted Danson and I are looking to make another Three Men And A Baby movie. It's called Three Men and A Bride. The script is pretty much written and we are really keen to get that made. We're very hopeful."

Guttenberg is also in the process of reviving the Police Academy franchise, which shot him to fame in the early 1980s.

Ooh, so Robin Weisman is returning to acting? :D

Or will they recast Mary?

Hopefully Nancy Travis and Sheila Hancock will be in the new movie as well.

That'd be pretty sweet, but I'll believe it when I see it. I'm not sure these three have enough present-day clout to get this made, even if the first one made so much money.

Disney eyeing Three Men and a Baby sequel

Post by Disneyphile »

If you’re anything like me, there’s a number of movies that you’ve been clamoring for a remake for. And none of the movies they’re currently remaking can touch them.

Such as Three Men and a Baby. Yes, Three Men and a Baby, the movie where the manliest men in history gallivanted around, trying to deal with the predicament of an unexpected infant entering their lives and messing everything up. You know. Like all men with a baby. Or at least, most men and a baby. So if you’ve been hankering to see Steve Guttenberg climb back on screen with Tom Selleck, HOLD ON TO YOUR SEATS, MISTER.

Don't you mean remake instead of sequel?

I had heard a while back there were talks of a sequel to the franchise but more it would be called Three Men and A Bride or something to the effect Mary gets married and of course either comical hilarity would come...or it could just be as bad as Old Dogs was...but who knows....

I've never seen the first two films but I imagine this sequels seems more feasible and fitting (compared to most sequels of films from late 80s/early 90s) since the baby in the original film would be in her early 20s now...a Bride movie makes sense.

Now if they can only get the original adult cast and directors/producers/writers to come on board...that's a challenge in itself. This film will likely be less popular than its predecessors given how much time has passed.
