I thought that scene was remarkably tame. Thanks to Bravo's 30 Scarier Movie Moments, I was expecting something that would scar me forever... What I got was one of those old-fashioned things where they want you to imagine what's happening instead of showing it to you. Either that, or they couldn't afford to do a better effect.ajmrowland wrote:Similar with Cabin Fever.

I ordered the Blu-ray from Sweden, so it might also be a definition thing.... But yeah, fullscreen might make it hard to see. It is a very dark, shadowy scene, and I barely noticed it until I popped the Blu-ray into the player.Lazario wrote: You know what? I've seen that movie about 7 times... but never before in Widescreen. That must be in the widescreen version. I've never noticed it.

I meant the wolf eating the girl's face.Lazario wrote:I thought that scene was remarkably tame. Thanks to Bravo's 30 Scarier Movie Moments, I was expecting something that would scar me forever... Oh yeah... thanks for bringing that little scene back into my memory. That was horrible. Wasn't that in part 2, though? (I hated part 2 overall.)Duckburger wrote:Kill Bill - Vol. 01
The "I'm-gonna-pull-your-eye-out-and-then-crush-it" scene is just... ugh. Can't watch that. Even though she did deserve it. It's just so disgusting, the thought alone makes me cringe.
I thought there was a chance that that's what you meant.ajmrowland wrote:I meant the wolf eating the girl's face.
Another particularly unbearable horror movie moment in my catalog actually isn't a gore scene. It's that awful dialogue scene in "the cold room" from Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984). I can't honestly tell who's a worse actor - him or her. And there's his now semi-legendary, "Holy Jesus jumping Christmas shit!" And he didn't even pronounce "Christmas" right.
