American Idol

Post by TurdBizzler »

I know this isn't Disney, but seriously, it's cool. After last week with the Hudson disaster, I think this week's show should be interesting. I just saw Fantasia Barrino sing a song, and mentioned Jennifer two or three times. Sort of cheap I think. Nothing against J-Hud, but I think she said that just to pick up her broken pieces. We will see. All you other AI followers, come on....POST

Ok, Ive been watching avidly since the season started and It was bad enough that J.P (whatever the white elvis dudes name was) lasted for so long. If that red head fella isnt off soon, i'm gonna boycot this damned show. Ive heard people scream racism and stuff, but then how do you explain last Years winner! Anyways, I just hope the true talent makes it to the Finale, or it could seriously change the shows future.
still cant wait to watch tonite! :)

Vincent: I don't watch TV.
Jules: Yeah, but, you are aware that there's an invention called television, and on this invention they show shows, right?

I also love to watch American Idol too.
I really dislike the way John Stevens sings.
I wish Matt Rodgers was still in the competition he was a very great singer.
So, was a big fan of Jon Peter Lewis he was the crazy white boy of the competition. Fantasia Barrino or John Stevens should be kick out of the competition they both sing so horrible.
Jennifer Hudson did a great performance when Barry Manillow was their I thought she was going to win the round.

The ones who should win are either LaToya London, George Huff or Jasmine Trias they provide that they are the most talent singers of the competition.
I can't wait to see tonight show and tomorrow show as well.

Did you guys see the commercial for the WB's version of American Idol? It sounds really cruel... they are going to turn away people who can really sing and tell them they can't sing then they are going to tell the bad singers that they're good and keep them on the show. So, they are sort of going to set these people up just to make fools of them on national television.

Yes, I saw the commerical and thought it was horrible.
I have no idea why The WB is going to take out a lame verison of American Idol. No one will watch it that much. Who wants to see horrible singers sing on television.
Not me.
It's called THE WB'S SUPERSTAR USA I not see it who wants to hear losers that sing.
How about the real singers why won't they win I guess because they are too good for the competition.

Maerj, that is HORRIBLE. Wow, WB is trying to take Fox to school on trashy television! And it looks like they'll succeed!

I was such a big fan of Jennifer Hudson, she was ROBBED! I was so mad when she left, it's RIDICULOUS. I don't buy into racism being the cause, though. Stay out of it, Elton. There may be something to be said for the "black vote" being split, though.

I'm a huge Idol fan, but I wasn't that upset about Jennifer Hudson leaving. She was very talented, but I didn't like her vocal style. It's like last year, I thought Kimberley Locke was a good singer, but I still didn't care for her. All I have to say is that John Stevens better go soon. He had potential too (I love Sinatra/Dean Martin), but he blew it.

Long shot or not, go George Huff!!!

I haven't seen too much of American Idol this season because, quite frankly, I think the show is really only good in the beginning when they have the bad people, and closer towards the end when most of the people are pretty good. However, I caught a bit of it a week or so ago when Fantasia sang "Summertime" from Porgy and Bess and I thought she did an amazing job. I just hope she doesn't get ripped off like Clay Aiken did last year. :tink:

At first I thought that John would be another 'Clay'...but now I just don't like him! He's stayed his welcome!

This season of American Idol is my least favorite, but I really enjoyed second season! I don't really know who I want to win this round...I can't decide, for now--I just want John to GO! :P

I think this is how it will play out:
6: John Stevens
5: Diana DeGarmo
4: Jasmine Trias
3: George Huff
2: Fantasia Barino
1: LaToya London

I was glad to see Camile go, she WAY overstayed her welcome! I think she should have left when Matt Rogers left.

I was SO shocked by last week bottom 3, and Jennifer should have been here until 3rd place.

Yay, fellow Clay fans!!! :D Clay all the way!

Like Yuki, I haven't really cared for this season much either. Then again, I just figured it was because I missed Clay and his goofy charm. Most of the finalists this time around annoy me and the ones who didn't got voted off (Matt Rogers come to mind). Idol is definitely better with more of a mix of girl and boy contestants. This season there are so many girls that they all kind of blend together and it gets boring.

I like AI and this season has shown quite a difference from the previous, but if you recall from the beginning that is what the judges wanted. They wanted this season to be different than the past and were turning away good raw talent for something different and okay/good.

As far as the WB's version it is cruel to play with peoples minds like that. But if you look there are so many shows doing it now it will blend right in. Although, case in point of what may come, look at the guy from the American Idol tryouts that everyone laughed at (can't remember his name oriental guy that did She Bangs). He is now coming out with a CD and has been on numerous talk shows and actually sounds a little better the last time I saw him on a show. People made fun of him in the beginning and it will probably set him up for the rest of his life (I guess that is good considering he said he wasn't doing very well in his engineering classes either:))

They are playing his songs on Radio Disney of all places... the audience seemed to be split on not liking the song (which was a cover of YMCA) and liking it because it was funny.

I may be asking something perhaps a little stupid, but is William Hung mentally handicapped by any chance?

I don't know for sure, but I'm thinking he is...

This season of AI is the worst one. Then again, three has always been my unlucky number...Anyway, the best singer to ever be on AI was Clay Aiken. Ruben isn't nearly as good as him! For season three, I believe either Fantasia or LaToya will win. I think Jennifer Hudson should've stayed in a little longer, but otherwise, I'm not going to miss her...she had no fashion sense!

I watch last night American Idol and it was great.
I'm a big fan of Gloria Estefan and her appearance on American Idol was great this show keeps getting better and better.
John Stevens has to go this time he miss up "Music of my Heart".
I even sing "Music of my Heart" way better.
The ones that should say in the competition are LaToya London, George Huff and Jasmine Trias all three gave great performance last night.
I really hope either John Stevens or Fantasia Barrino get kick out tonight.
Both are very annoying and horrble singers.
They must go!

As we know, John is gone(POET), but expect to be seeing a lot of Fantasia. She could even be this year AI if not 2nd Place.

I think that Fantasia is probably going to be staying around for a long time, she seems liked.
How does John keep going through? He must have a bunch of followers, family, friends, or someone who is always going to vote for him no matter what! ...sometimes I must agree with Simon about 'America should not allowed to vote anymore' because sometimes I feel that America makes the wrong decisions...

John making it to the top 10 is a mystery that I'll never figure out...

When we call American Idol 'AI' I keep thinking of Artificial Intellegence! :P
