FS: Make Mine Music and Melody Time Japanese LaserDiscs

Post by The Lizard King »

Hello UltimateDisney.com Members,

I have both Make Mine Music and Melody Time Japanese LaserDiscs for sale. Both are completely UNCENSORED. e-mail me if you are interested. For more information see:

<a href=http://www.geocities.com/disney_laserdiscs/0110.html TARGET=new>http://www.geocities.com/disney_laserdiscs/0110.html</a>
<a href=http://www.geocities.com/disney_laserdiscs/1214s.html TARGET=new>http://www.geocities.com/disney_laserdi ... 4s.html</a>

The discs themselves are in perfect condition (no scratches nor laser rot). The jackets both have a slight amount of yellowing near the opening, but there are NO creases or splits in them whatsoever. I'm sure that the yellowness can be removed with an appropriate mild cleanser, but I didn't want to take a chance in ruining the jacket! Both titles come with both original inserts and elephant condom covers. Both titles have been stored in plastic protective sleeves and in a climate-controlled environment.

I can send you pictures via e-mail so you can see for yourself the condition of the titles.

I was planning to sell these on eBay when the economy perked up a bit, but I certainly wouldn't mind avoiding eBay's final value fees if I can. I bought them both for $700 three years ago. I'm asking $850 for them both. I will ship via Priority Mail, insured for $1,000, with a delivery confirmation (tracking) number. I am a VERY good packager, so they will get to you completely unscathed. The $850 price includes the shipping and my very careful packaging.

Why am I willing to sell them now? I just can't justify keeping two items that fetch together nearly $1,000 on the open market anymore. I've gotten into other (expensive) hobbies, and I could use the funds to persue my new interests.

BTW, if you want to inquire about my reputation as an honest businessman, contact Luke and ask him yourself.

Lizard King,

I don't have LD so i can't buy (not to mention I don't have that kind of money). Hope someone will buy them from ya! But what's an elephant condom cover?

It's a clear plastic cover for a LaserDisc with a slit open on one side (so the disc can go in it) and closed on the other. The closed end is rounded to conform to the LD. If one were to open the slit and make the flat cover cylidrical, it would appear to be a condom whose dimensions would be suitable for an elephant (NOT a human  )

I don't know if I'll get what I'm asking, but I'm hoping that a collector out there would want them.
