As I've mentioned, I write for a DVD website (DVD Bits), so from time to time I get free DVDs to review. Today I got:

- Looney Tunes: Back in Action
- The Color Purple (2 Disc SE)
- Tremors 4 !!! (Not that I've seen the first 3...).

All I have to do is watch and review them now. Keep an eye out for my in depth techincal reviews ( ) at Bits...

WOOOHOOO, Loomis! The Color Purple is my favorite movie, and I just spent last night watching the SE DVD's special features AGAIN, b/c I'm writing analysis papers of various aspects of the film for class. I look forward to seeing what you think.

Just got The Haunted Mansion and Master and Commander: 2-Disc CE from Best Buy.

What was pretty ridiculous is that there were only 10 copies of M&C 2-Disc at that location, and they were all gone within 5 minutes. I feel sorry for those that came later - there really should've been more in stock. I'm just glad I got there early.

It is certainly not an easy film to watch at times, given the brutal treatment of some of the characters, but I personally find it a better piece than some of Spielberg's latter dramatic pieces (including Schindler's List - I know, I know...I think SL is a brilliantly made film, I just find it hard to sit through more than once or twice). I'll let you know when the review is up (probably by the weekend).

As for my own new DVDs:
- Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation
- Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers - The Producer's Cut (then again, I don't approve of 'alternate' cuts, so maybe I don't "officially" have this one...hee hee hee).

FACT x IMPORTANCE = NEWS

Here are the headlines!

2099net gets The Day Today DVD! It's a fantastic package stuffed to the brim with hot news offel. Because doubt into fact won't go, the set includes all the transmitted episodes. Several extended scenes lead to a dangerous surfit of actuality. Then for an additional fact-dump the untransmitted pilot episode is included. Several mini-bulletins and trailers make a hardy news parrot for dessert, while additional fact based news jigsaw peieces are put together to show a picture of a man walking his news hound, including an all new Partridge/Morris chat about Princess Diana.

Those were the headlines. Happy now?

Still waiting for Fraggle Rock, sent over a week ago...

I got my Saved By The Bell Seasons 3 & 4 set today, and it's great, of course. Listened to two commentaries with the three cast members (Dustin Diamond, Lark Voorhies, and Dennis Haskins) and they were lots of fun. Here's hoping that they can get the other four cast members to do commentary for the next set, and that we eventually get Miss Bliss and the College Year too.

Best Buy has a offer for Saved by the Bell: Season 1&2 and Saved by the Bell Season 3&4.

Buy both Sets at Best Buy and save $15.00.
That's a deal. I think I will get both of them as soon as possible.
I remember seeing it when I went to elementary school.
I saw it on Saturday mornings on NBC.
I really like Bayside!
Zach, Kelly, Screech, A.C. Slater, Jessie and Lisa!!
Just like my old days in High School.

I'm really excited to get both sets.
Since TBS and Doc(channel 12 in my area) show reruns but to early.

I always hated Slater and Zach. You know the pretty boys from high school always made my life hell.
