Anyone see the mythbusters episode where they lifted a little girl with helium balloons?
There's no way this balloon could have carried that little boy away.

Well, the police have made their press conference, they are looking to charge the parents...GOOD. I think they should tack on child neglect for making him stay in a box for hours

Hey, if it wasn't that, the kid's name is still "Falcon". He was going to have trouble either way.Mooky wrote:I kinda feel bad for that kid, he'll be known as Balloon Boy for the rest of his life. High school's gonna be hell for him.

Neighbours of the Heene family have now come forth, sharing their disgust at having been betrayed and used in the scam. One neighbour was quoted as saying: "I hugged [mother Mayumi Heene]. She seemed genuinely frightened...After hearing it's a hoax, I, like everyone, am angry over that".
Sounds like a very twisted family, chasing fame and walking all over their friends in the process.

I'd just like to say that this is my first post here on UD!
On this balloon boy saga, they ought to punish that Richard Heene. I can just tell in his eyes that he's an egotistical moron.
One time he came out to the press with a box, telling the newspeople there to put their questions in it. When they did that, he put the box by his front door and just left it there. And did anyone know that he also made his own theme song singing his scientific brillance?
Right after the balloon floated away, he called the news station instead of 911. You can't make this stuff up.
