Amazon has a nice sale for recent Disney Blu-ray and DVD's!

Post by Matt »

I got this email this morning, thought I'd share it with you guys. Amazon didn't give a time date this ends, just for a limited time only. These were the ones in the email but their may be more. I say do a search on Amazon before buying. :)

Dear Amazon.com Customer,

As someone who has shown an interest in family entertainment, you might like to know about the following offer: for a limited time, a selection of recent favorites from Disney are on sale on DVD and Blu-ray.

Jonas Brothers: The Concert Experience (Single-Disc Edition) DVD
$18.49

Bedtime Stories (Single-Disc Edition) DVD
$15.99

Beverly Hills Chihuahua DVD
$14.99

Bolt (Single-Disc Edition) DVD
$14.99

High School Musical 3: Senior Year (Extended Edition) DVD
$23.49 (Not really a sale to me.)

Hannah Montana The Movie (3-Disc Combo Pack Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy) [Blu-ray]
$22.49

Race to Witch Mountain (Blu-ray/DVD Combo + Digital Copy) [Blu-ray]
$23.49

Pinocchio (Two-Disc 70th Anniversary Platinum Edition DVD)
$15.99

So for anyone who wants Pinocchio on DVD, now is your time to grab your copy! That is a nice price. Also if you buy $25 dollars or over, you get the option to have free shipping! Some countries you do not have to pay taxes (I am one of the lucky ones lol) So act now! :)

I actually saw Pinocchio at Wal Mart for $14.96 on DVD, so I may go back to get it this weekend or next! Lots of Disney DVD/Blu-Ray sales going on now!

Well with Amazon you don't have to pay sales tax and if you buy anything else that makes the order $25 or more, you don't pay shipping and you save. :D

True, but driving to a local Wal-Mart to pay $14.96 + tax is cheaper (and greener) than $15.99 + Other Item being shipped to you from a warehouse. ;)

(Then again, I got Pinocchio for $13.99 at Target some weeks after it first came out)

I'm a hypocrite for buying Pinocchio six months ago for $1 less than Wal-Mart? :P

And I'm not flaming, I'm glowing. There's a difference. ;)

Techincally.. neither is really "greener" than the other.
Both are shipped to warehouses and then shipped from warehouses to various places (retail stores, or post offices and then to your house).

Just saying..

But the sale is only for the DVD... or am I missing something?

I always mean precisely what I say whenever I say it. And I stand by it. And you, sir, are worse than fin fungus.

...you might want to get that checked out. Or that that healthy New Jersey radioactive glow I've heard so much about? The one that gave that daycare center superhuman powers?

It does not look like much of a sale (especially since Wal-Mart sells a few of the titles cheaper) and there does not look like any titles I really want.

yeah, which ones are cheaper cause the walmarts near me sells a lot of these blu-rays for much higher. Walmart to me is you get what you pay for. I got some clothes at walmart and I had to throw them away in like a couple months vs target I still have a lot of my stuff.
