"Shorts" (2009) DVD and Blu-ray - November 24

DVDActive has posted the news that Robert Rodriguez's family comedy Shorts will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on November 24 (the same day that the new 2-disc DVD of Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is released):

The Blu-ray release will include 2 featurettes exclusive to that release ("The Magic of Shorts", "Shorts Show and Tell"), along with the DVD's two featurettes ("Ten Minute Film School: Short Shorts", "Ten Minute Cooking School: Chocolate Chip Volcano Cookies"). It will also include a DVD and a digital copy of the film.

I'm guessing the DVD included with the Blu-ray will be just like the DVD included in New Line's Blu-ray release of 17 Again; it will only have the film in widescreen, as opposed to the standalone DVD with both widescreen and full screen formats.

I'm surprised Rodriguez didn't do this in 3D.

I think Robert Rodriguez should stop making these lame kids films. I know he can make good films, but I will skip this for sure.
