Strawberry Jaffa Cakes - Limited Edition

Absolute Rubbish!
Never before in the history of snackdom have I been so disappointed and, yes, even repulsed.

Bring back Orange and Cranberry. Why did they even stop making them?

How long are they out for? :o Hopefully till mid-August when I'll be back in the UK. I've had raspberry Jaffa Cakes in France (well, they weren't called "Jaffa Cakes" or even "Les Gateaux de Jaffa", but they were essentially the same thing), and they were quite nice. :p

Tescos have had them for ages, but Sainsburys only recently seems to have started to stock them, so hopefully they'll still be out until the end of the summer.

Alexia Crunchy Snacks Waffle Fries: Classic Ranch

http://alexiafoods.com/images/product_i ... 0000Du.jpg

They're like potato chips, only so much better! These are literally the best chips that I've ever had in my life. Wow. I also bought the cheddar ones and the BBQ ones, but I haven't opened them yet.

They're not greasy. This brand also makes frozen potatoes, so you know they know their potatoes. The ranch ones do have a weird aftertaste, sort of, but they're still amazing.

They're expensive (2 for $5, I think they were, for 5oz.), but I had a raincheck for Buy 1, Get 1 Free, and $3 in coupons, so I got 3 bags for about $2 something, which isn't bad at all. If the other ones are as amazing as these, I'll make sure to post about them in here!

Bobby didn't like the ranch chips, so he opened the BBQ ones (the chips I mentioned in my above post). They're a lot spicier than a normal BBQ chip, but not so spicy that my mouth is on fire. They're not nearly as good as the ranch. I still like the thick cut, but I wouldn't get these again. I just prefer a regular BBQ chip.

Another post on the Alexia Crunchy Snacks Waffle Fries! I just opened the Aged Cheddar Cheese chips. Not nearly as cheesy as I was expecting. All 3 of the flavors have a similar underscore of flavor (if that makes any sense), and these actually have the least amount of flavor out of the three. There really is such a slight cheesy taste that it doesn't matter...if someone didn't know that they're supposed to be cheesy, they may think that they're plain chips. But, even plain, these would be remarkable chips. But what's interesting is that I can smell the cheese in the bag! But the ranch remains my favorite.
