So, season 3 actually takes place BEFORE this movie? :?

It shouldn't, since they filmed the movie before filming season 3. And besides, the show has such little continuity that it doesn't really matter. And based on the predictability of the show, I'm guessing the movie ends with Miley deciding she wants to be both Miley and Hannah, making the entire film pointless.

I believe that Season 3 takes place before the movie, since the end of the movie could be the end of the show...

I find it ironic that Disney titled it "Hannah Montana: The Movie" when it looks like the movie's whole purpose is to drop the whole Hanna charade and push Miley as the pop star.

I actually had an opportunity to be an extra in this film, but the job didn't pay enough to reimburse me for the drive from Atlanta to Nashville and back.

Thanks so much for posting that, Diego!!! I'm surprised at all the non-Hannah/Miley songs, but I like the song "Bless the Open Road" a lot, so it'll be nice to own the song, and I like Taylor Swift. I'm really excited for the CD and the movie!

According to this msn report, Dolly Parton will not be in the new Hannah Montana movie.

http://music.msn.com/music/article.aspx ... &GT1=28127

This may be old news to some of you, but I was completely expecting Dolly Parton to at least make a short cameo (ala her apperance in The Beverly Hillbillies).

Anyone else noticed how "If Cupid Had a Heart" was from the movie Get A Clue, way back in 2002? No wonder it sounds nothing like Selena Gomez.

Wanna bet that Miley will remain Hannah by the end of the movie?

One very common flaw in many movies based on TV shows is that they will hype up a big event that will change the storyline, but in reality it is dropped and quickly resolved.

Miley will realize that Hannah is very important to her, will keep being and forget that the movie had any development whatsoever.

Wait, you mean the movie won't end a phenomenally successful franchise? I'm confused.

I don't think the movie will end the Hannah franchise. I agree that Miley will still decide to live both lives, despite the hyping of the storyline that implies she is forced to choose just one. If you notice during a recent episode of the show, Lilly says to Miley, "You're Hannah-stinking-Montana! You just starred in a movie and you can't afford one?!" That implies to me she decided to still be Hannah at the end of the movie.

Well, I think it's freakin' obvious it'll end the show. The ads say she'll have to choose just one. I don't think Disney's really trying to make it obscure that she'll choose to be just Miley. At least not to the crowd older than 10-12.
