</center>Welcome to the Fifth Annual UltimateDisney.com/DVDizzy.com Movie Awards - 2009! I hope you will all join me in following in Jack Seiley's footsteps and honoring the best of 2008 in the world of film!
This is the first stage, in which you all get to nominate films in the following categories (and those categories only). You may nominate up to 5 films in each category (you may nominate less than 5, but no more than that). Please only nominate movies that you have actually seen. Nominations must come from films released in 2008 (IMDb dates will be used as the final authority). Yes, it's the 2009 Awards because that's when it takes place, but the films must come from 2008! The same film can be submitted for multiple categories. Though these awards may resemble the Academy Awards and we may look to the Academy's rules for guidance, those rules are not necessarily binding here and where there is any difference, the UD/DVDizzy Awards rules govern. Nominations for ineligible titles in any category will be disregarded.
You have until 11:59pm (eastern time) on Saturday, January 31 to submit your nominees. You may edit your votes up until that point but not after. Any posts edited after that time will have to be disqualified. The finalists will be announced shortly afterwards.

* The DVD or Blu-ray must have been released during 2008 but the film itself may come from any year.
** The movie itself must have made its debut during 2008 and must not have previously been released to theaters. A 2008 re-release of a movie that first received a wide release on a home video format prior to 2008 will not be eligible.
