Dr. Syn Treasure

Post by thatartguy »

I'm looking for the Dr. Syn Disney Treasure. If anyone could please help me find it at the original retail price, I would be eternally grateful. (It's sold out at Amazon already. I guess the print run was especially low.)

I can't believe Disney was so stupid as to only print 39,500 of Syn. They're already going for big bucks on ebay. Hope you find one for a decent price. Watch them put Song of the South out as a Treasure and lower the number even more. Do they like making people big money reselling limited runs or aren't they in the business of actually selling them to customers themselves? They should admit they f'ed up and make another 25-50 thousand more Dr. Syns.

Fortunately, I found one the a town away and bought it for in-store pick up. I'm going to pick it up tomorrow.

I agree. It's an exceptionally small print run for something that so many people have been waiting for a long time. Under 40k is ridiculous.

buy.com is sold out now. I have mine but I just checked before I posted to someone else and they're all gone (it says temporarily out of stock but they won't get any more).

When I picked up mine there was another copy. I was thinking about picking it up, but thought I'd leave it for someone else that was searching for it like I was.

I purchased 3 of this when it came out and going to hold onto them until April or May and resell them on the amazon.com marketplace. By that time should be worth a ton.

Try FYE

Post by bmadigan »

I called around and found one at a local FYE. I had to pay list price, but that is prolly the only reason they weren't sold out.

List price isn't bad, these tins are going for over $50 and rising as they get
rarer..
