The Eeyore Movie

Post by eeyore220376 »

So, Tigger had a movie, Piglet had a movie and obviously Pooh has several movies. I see that the Heffalump Movie and Springtime with Roo are next. Is poor Eeyore ever going to get his own movie?

What about "Christopher Robin's Grand Adventure: The Search for Winnie the Pooh"? Or "The Rabbit Movie", "The Other Rabbit Movie: His Friends and Relations", "The Other Other Rabbit Movie: More of his Friends and Relations", "Owl's Long Story" . . . I love Eeyore though, I hope he gets a movie.

Don't forget the Mole movie. Digging holes is a very important job.

Eyeore did have the special "A Day for Eyeore", which kind of was 'Eyeore's Little Movie'. I suppose he doesn't have the feature length appeal of Piglet or Tigger, who have these very distinct personalities that warrant focus. Although, I suppose a movie that showed a "hidden" side to Eyeore would be cool (but again, "A Day for Eyeore" and some episodes from the 'New Adventures' TV series - like 'Donkey for a Day' - did that to some extent already).

From what I understand, Springtime with Roo is more of a Rabbit movie anyway, and I don't think Owl would make a good film subject (he is more the "go to" guy).

I think it works best when Pooh is the focus anyways - he is the appeal of the show, and the glue that brings these wacky guys together (along with Christopher Robin).

Still, I reckon they could pretty much make a million of these films....and I'd still get 'em. :D

I'd be careful about using the term "spunk" around a group of English people (and Aussies too for that matter).

Wasn't gopher the unsung star of Groundhog Day? I'm sure he is a very versatile actor.

Poor gloomy Eyore... When he gets a short all to himself (A Day For Eyore), it is one of the crappiest Pooh products to come out of Disney. Horrible storytelling and acting, dreadful animation, and it has none of the charm of the original shorts/feature. Yuk...
