Picked up three graphic novels today:

Batman: The Long Halloween

Batman: Dark Victory

and

Watchmen

I've read them all before, but my local book store was having a graphic novel sale so I picked them all up at half price and plan to have a good reading session tonight.

Last wednesday I bought a black nintento game cube for £9.99 out of game. I had forgotten all about them until I saw it sitting there, I also bought super mario sunshine, an x men game & a memory card for it. While I was out shopping that day, I also found & bought 2 tomb raider graphic novels, what I have been looking out for, for about 3 years. So I have done pretty well. I am also about to buy secret window starring johnny depp, on dvd. It's going cheap :D.

Picked up the NECA Pintel figure on clearance (around 5 bucks plus tax) at Spencers. It was the only one they had too, which is great because I already have Ragetti (sp?). I also already have a Jack Sparrow, Will, Elizabeth (first film version), skeleton pirate, and Barbosa. So, if I can just get the Davy Jones figure I've wanted forever, I'll be happy. Well, I'd like the Tia Dalma figure too. Don't care much about the others (but I'd take 'em if I could get 'em).

But I'm so annoyed with how hard the Wall-E figures have been to find in my town! None of the Targets or Wal-Marts carry them, and they're always sold out at Toys R Us and the Disney Store! I just want 1 Eve and Space Adventure Wall-E!

I did, amazingly, finally land a Movie Masters Joker, thank goodness. It looked like someone had hidden one at Target and it had just been found and restocked!

Not sure where else to put this, but, to ask Disney fans, if you were going to get one Wall-E toy, regardless of price (well, under 50 bucks), what would it be? I am really trying to decide between getting the Interactive Wall-E, the U-Control Wall E (the big one that's the same size as the interactive one), or just the pair of deluxe figures of Wall-E and Eve. I didn't get to see the film in theaters, and I probably could make a better decision if I did. I am confident I'll love it though, and I really want to get a toy from it but it's so hard to find any in stores, but I saw the two big toys I mentioned for the first time a few days ago at a Target.

I would get a stuffed animal, but seeing that the quality of them isn't that great, I think I would get the two Wall-E and EVE figures.

I have the 2 small stuffed animals (well, stuffed robots), and I think that they're cute!

The best option would be both interactive Wall-e & Eve, because that'd be fun! But the figures of both would be really cute...because they love each other!

Thanks. I was leaning towards the U-Control Wall-E, but I'll consider it some more. However, these items go so fast in my town and are hard to ever find. I might just have to get what I find when I find it.

As for stuffed toys, I had a huge collection (HUGE) until just a month or so ago. I couldn't handle all that I had and they became a big part of my new initiative to streamline my collectibles collection. I parted with all kinds of stuff, including stuff I really didn't want to part with, figuring I'd try to just keep the very best representations of characters that I had and try to really cut down the number of plush toys I had. For example, I let go of my plush Gurgi and Hen Wen and in their place I ordered the statuette of Taran, Eilonwy, and Gurgi off Ebay that I'd been wanting forever (mainly to have something of Eilonwy). I still have a ton of stuffed toys I need to get the nerve to part with or else find a good place to store away for now (while I have such small living quarters), but I also got rid of a ton. Though, in truth, they're just in another room of the house until my mom decides what to do with them. She'll probably give some to my niece and some as prizes for students, and so on. I hate to see them not go to collectors, ha, but since I don't use a credit card I can't sell on Ebay. Most are really like new though.

Anyway, my point is, I now only buy stuffed toys in situations where they are really exceptional, like the three small Fraggle plush toys I bought recently at Kaybee, getting rid of my old Gobo (who wasn't a very good likeness) and the Sprocket I got with him.

Do you have a PayPal account, Nathan? You can have your PayPal account linked with your bank account, so I don't think that you need a credit card (I could be wrong, but I think that's right).

I can't right now due to saving money for a bunch of upcoming CDs & DVDs, but if you ever want to post what stuffed animals you want to sell, I would be very interested in buying some!!!

Thanks, I might take you two up on that. I assume there is a forum thread for this sort of thing here, so I'll post there if I get around to selling some. I've been thinking about signing up for Paypal so I can do the commission thing on Deviantart.com when I have free time, but I think you still need a credit card to do Ebay. I looked into it recently. I'll double check though.
