Wall-E font

Post by TM2-Megatron »

Tried searching, but I didn't see anything related to this.

I was browsing the website of an independent graphic designer type guy, who also has produced several fonts; mostly based on movies, etc. I'd actually previously purchased his "Star Wars"-style font for a video project I was working on.

Anyway, while there today, I just noticed that he's also produced a font that's clearly based on the one used for the Wall-E main title, though it doesn't say so by name for obvious copyright or trademark or whatever reasons.

Might pick it up myself eventually; it's kinda cool, and might be useful at some point.

On the topic of Disney fonts, there's also a free font called Waltograph, that's really quite an impressive rendition (and extrapolation, since it includes the entire alphabet and numbers, etc.) of the Walt Disney logo. It's also one of the few free fonts I've come across that's actually Opentype.

That GALAX•E font is the official WALL•E font... but there is also one that is free and VERY similar called GUNSHIP. Here is a sample of what GUNSHIP looks like.

Compared to the official WALL•E font...
