I"m surprised that nobody talked about Dumbo, that was more racist then a crab (That scene with black people buliding the circus singing something like "We work all day and night and we never learned how to wirte or read").
Honestly, I'm not quite sure they were supposed to be black people. Their whole body is pit black. We can see no clothes, no features, no skin, just silhouttes. It could be any race, not just one.

You can see their clothes and see them, but maybe it's the night that make them look black but they"re not really black.

The crows speak in stereotypical "black" accents.

Angelina is basically (though not directly) calling Disney's Princess films racist - for their lack of diversity, which seems more than a little unfair. After all we've had Mulan and Pocahontas. And of course The Princess and the Frog to come.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

While I can understand some people wanting films to be more diversive, I still think that's a stupid reason to not even let your kids watch the movies!

Believe me, I heard stupider. Someone once said they won't let their kids watch Finding Nemo because Ellen voiced Dory...why is that a problem? Ellen is gay. Apparently they don't want their children hearing the voice of a gay actress even when gay had nothing to do with the movie. Forget the fact the movie was a wonderful story about a handicapped child and his loving father. It had a gay actress and they wouldn't let their kids watch it. Wonder if they watched LOTR....Sir Ian McKellen (Gandalf) is totally out of the closet and open about it. Betcha they watched a ton of movies with gay actors and never realized. The ignorance of some people. I'm not Christian, but I love Narnia! Some people can't get out of the box.

Is Disney being a Dumbo when it comes to "Song of the South"?
